Approx 1 month for PER and dont think -ve :D but if you get NER then you should get refund.

Hi all,

I got my app returned back today.:(
Noc 2173, Sep 09 applicant.
reason mentioned in the letter by CIC: cap reached

Hello Forum friends,

Today I received a response from CIC for my query sent on Nov 26 regarding my application status.
My application has been sent back on Jan 10 due to cap full!

Application details:
NOC 2171
Applcation date: Sep 2

Hi All,

I have received my application back on 28th Jan 2015 :(

NOC 2173
Aug 18th applicant
Reason: Cap fill

My package was posted on 18th Nov 2014 by CIC. So it almost took 70days to reach.

I am worried about my application for Noc 2172 as well as the total cap?do you think it will be capped for 31 Dec' applicants?

Here is the status of NOC 2172 as of 18th Dec 2014 and after that CIC stopped giving updates:

NOC Code: 2172
Eligible occupation (by National Occupational Classification [NOC] code): Database analysts and data administrators
Number of applications counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap Footnote1: 218
Pending applications (Complete applications waiting for MI Acceptance Review): 152

So, as of 18th Dec 2014 there are only 370 complete applications. So, if you add another 500 between 18th to 31st Dec 2014 then also you safely fall under the cap.

Note: If CIC has not updated numbers correctly then we might have different outcome :(

The main question is about total cap.when they reach 25000 applicants?i saw in Global Spreadsheet that only 83% have applied under 2172,but today is 100%.What does mean? :'(

I differ with your opinion here, the latest application whose CC charge reported in the FSW 2014 forum in 2172 before the final update of 12/18/2014
was of an applicant called "rahuldhawanFSW" . His/her application was received on 10/10/2014 by CIO-NS.

So in my view if CIC did not received 630 applications b/w 10/10 - 12/31 ( approx dates and no's ) , you will be in CAP for 2172.
Hope you understood my point here.I do not think global cap of 25000 would have reached by 12/31.

I hope all of you guys make it in.All the best.

Note : This is my personal opinion only based on the forum updates , forum members might have various comments on this.

Is there anyone who has sent app without ielts original because original was submitted with other noc?

Where does your opinion differs from kvirdi here? It looks encouraging, but I've had someone telling me he saw an updated CAP in Dec 26th close to 600 on 2172.. but I didnt see this myself to dont know what to think of it.

My application reached CIC on 6th Oct, 2014 for NOC 2171. It's the 16th week. Neither have i heard from them nor the package has been returned. What should i expect?

2171 applicant here,Sept.12 received application.
This whole thing is going to give me a heart attack! Keeping my fingers crossed that we get good replies from CIC.If they would return our application(which I hope NOT) why would they make us wait for that long?! It's just not right.Emotionally stressed and mentally stressed already.URGH!
