Hoping always endures, but be prepared for best & worst. CIC has already published that the CAP is reached, cap includes those whose applications are already perused.

I am not trying to demoralize ur hope, but as a matter of fact if ur dream is canada plz get ready for EE.

Hi Vinu

By saying 'Get ready for EE', what exactly do you mean?
As far as I know, calculating the points is the only new stuff.
It'll be really helpful If you can provide us a list of things which would vary from the current FSW process.
It is going to be an online procedure, so I think scanning all docs will make sense.

Hello Chakri,

Go thru below URL, this website has all the info related to EE.

https://www.canadianimmigration.net/immigration/express-entry/

Who Can Apply?

Under the new Express Entry program, anyone will be able apply. Instead of needing to have experience in an occupation on a strict list of eligible occupations as with many other immigration programs, Express Entry will have no occupation list and applicants can present their impressive credentials regardless of what industry or profession they are in.

Canada’s most popular immigration program for foreign workers without a job offer is the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) eligible occupation stream. Only a limited number of applicants can apply (maximum 1,000 per eligible occupation) and they must have work experience in one of 50 eligible occupations within the last 10 years. Canada needs workers from more than 50 occupations, and many people in occupations not on the list would benefit Canada’s economy and workforce.

Unlike the restrictive FSW program, the new Express Entry program allows people from all occupations to apply without limiting availability to those fortunate enough to have their occupation included on a small list.

Additionally, Express Entry will also not include the application caps featured in many other Canadian immigration programs, including the FSW program. Without a cap on the number of applications being accepted for processing, applicants can apply to Express Entry at any time without fear that the program will close or fill up before their application is completed.

Hello dear friends,
I hope there are plenty from 2173 code, i would like to know where do have opportunities for "embedded software development in networking, telecom or healthcare domains". Can you show some insight on it. What places or cities in canada have this kind of opportunities.
can you post some links to find opportunities?

@vinubaby777: EE will be tightly coupled with job. You have clear interview first, have job in hand then PR which wont be easier like 2173.

Hi

For NOC 2171, as cap of 1000 is met and the last charge as per forum is 2 Sep 2014

As of now all 1000 apps should have been charged

I feel on forum we have not more than 150 (an approx of maximum) who said that their app is charged

And may be almost all of the rest are DD applicants and waiting for news from bank

I verified SS, and see that 90 percent of apps after 2 Sep are DD

The few are CC method, they are either charged and member has not shared the news , or rejected due to eligibility reasons , or out of Cap

I feel Not 2171 applicants after 2nd Sep DD method , should wait for other 15 days are so to know the status
