Ow accurate is the fsw global spreadsheet? It shows 2171 is still open but threads here say it closed in July? Does 2171 have a shot?

spreadsheet represent around 20-30 % of the worldwide applications. Where did you find that 2171 is closed in July? I believe it will be open till October.

You should be fine. The figures in cic site is most likely based on completeness check.Some assumes they have done completeness check till end of June.

Good to see IT related thread. I have a question about timeline regarding all this. I submitted my application and it was received on July 14th, I still haven't received any PER or my CC has not been charged. Is this normal? and if not is there a way to contact CIC and ask them about the PER?

The person in another thread said 2171 is realistically capped since July, and that applying in the next week carries NO HOPE

That's why I wanted to ask. Do you guys think there is still a shot, and how close is the FSW google doc?

As per CIC 2171 is close to 250 applications and as per the google sheet there are 276 entries for 2171. It is estimated that 2171 will be filled by Dec.

Hoping for the best as my application is also reached this week itself.

Thank you! I started getting worried after 2 months mark. Seems like there is 3-4 months time frame between submission and CIC confirmation of submission.

I Applied for FSWP in NOC 2173. I had sent my application on 18th July and it reached Nova Scotia on 24th July. I am applying through London visa office. I have not received any confirmation from them yet. When should I expect to get confirmation that my application has been received ? and when should I expect PER ?

Also is there anyone where who has applied in July ?

My NOC code is 2173.... Any idea about till what date CIC has last counted the applications?

I read in the spread sheet under realistic scenario that cap got filled?

What are my chances in falling with in the 1000 cap?

i.e. Schedule 3: Economic Classes [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3] (PDF, 656 KB)

But its shows as

Years of exp as

1 Year
2 to 3 years
4 to 5 years


I dont know what should i select as my exp is 1 year and 8 months

Pls Reply what to select in such a case

Form has been updated in August 2014, while in 2013 form use to have options as

Less than 1 year
1 year but less than 2
2 year but less than 3

What should i select in my case when my exp is 1 year and 8 months
