As per CIC 2171 is close to 250 applications and as per the google sheet there are 276 entries for 2171. It is estimated that 2171 will be filled by Dec.

Hoping for the best as my application is also reached this week itself.

This week I received my full application package returned which was incomplete and was sent on June first week.

This means they are still working on JUNE applications with 275 CAP.

I am pretty sure this NOC will already be capped before they start processing Sept/Oct applications.

If you have not yet sent your package, you might want to consider other NOC.

my friend is working with a american bank as a credit analyst for almost 2 yrs ...... his education differs from his work .. he has done BSc it(3yrs) and Msc it(2yrs) in 2011....

now he wanted to apply under NOC 0122 which is 2013 NOC list....... but not in 2014 NOc list ... Huh

Plz advise.. should he apply or not. Huh?

I have sent the document on 20/9 expected to reach 24/09.NOC - 2171 . Is there any chances ? SS shows pessimistic date 24/09.Some people on thread saying there is no chance for Sept/Oct applicant as the cap will be reached in June/July.

Same case with me..I have sent my application today for NOC 2171 and it is expected to reach CIC office by 30-Sep-14..

It does not matter what your study was, what matters is your work experience. However his educational credential must fulfill CIC's requirement as equivalent to Canadian education. Have you actually reviewed the whole process of Federal Skill Worker?
You can't depend on everything was told by someone else. read this before you ask.

Join this thread, keep an eye on the spreadsheet and other people comments. Watch closely for the caps update.
Get yourself register in the spreadsheet.
And you can look at the information what spreadsheet tells you. However this spreadsheet doesn't represent the world. But gives you a brief idea on what's going on right now in this forum.

1.If one member of my family has died, how should I fill in the form? Would it be ok if under "marital status" I write deceased and for "present address" I write N/A?

1.What should I write under UCI?
I am Romanian but I have been living in Belgium since 6 years. I have permanent residence here.
2.Regarding the "national identity document", which info should I provide? the one related to my residency in Belgium or my national ID from Romania?
3.I am resident in Belgium. does that mean that my local VO is Paris?
4.Section "Education/Occupation detail" what should I write under "number of years of education in total"? primary+secondary+univ years? Or just univ years?

Schedule 3- Economic Classes-Federal Skilled Workers [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 3

1In section Language there is a question whether my spouse or common-law partner is proficient in English or French.I am single, what should I reply? I have only options NO and YES. NO, I suppose...
Normally I should write N/A but I can't, or can I?
2.I have to write the ammount of settlement funds in canadian dollars but my bank certificate will be in euros, lets say 12k euros
What should I write then in the form? the value of those 12k euro in canadian dollars?
3.Any negative impact if I have no assets or liabilities?

Supplementary Information -Your Travels [IMM 5562]
1.As I mentioned before, I am living in Belgium, however I work in Luxembourg. Actually, I live at 2mins walking from the border with Luxembourg.
So, in the morning I drive to my office from Lux and when the program is over I go back home, in Belgium.
Should I write that from 2008 until present I went to Luxembourg for work? the point is that I didn't live in Luxembourg during this time period.

Everything has be done before hand and submitted with the application forms.
do some calculation on your marks, see if he needs to have 2 education be assessed.
Be aware that some institutions might not be recognized by Canada.
