We lodge our application last June 16 and was received by CIO on June 20. I'm worried that we might not make it. :(

NOC: 2174

The details needed are as per CIC requirements

But I took this mail from HR and Superior for the application to executive MBA program and this is evident in mail
Try and get a letter addressed to CIC, not to MBA program. Other applicants are getting their letters addressed explicitly to CIC, if you send a letter meant for MBA program, which applicants' letter do you think will be readily accepted?
Ofcourse you are free to use the MBA letter, the choice is yours. CIO also has a choice to accept a letter that is properly addressed and meant for FSW. All the best.

Can we apply for 2173 if all the previous work experience is 2174 ? Is it that once we get PER we will only get employment opportunities in 2173 if we apply for 2173 now ?

I submitted my application in 2173 on August 10. Do you mean 2173/2174 is already full by end of August or you are predicting that it'll be full for people who apply after June end. Please clarify. Also, when is the earliest you think I'll get charged on CC and get my PER/AOR email - an estimate pls? My work permit is expiring in Oct.

2173 is relatively safe as compared to 2174... so there is a high probability that 2173 can make it.

Thanks for your take. Also, when is the earliest you think I'll get charged on CC and get my PER/AOR email - an estimate pls? My work permit is expiring in Oct and I applied on August 10 via Regular mail in 2173 & 0112 FYI. Thanks again..

Appreciate if someone can reply to this - Can we apply for 2173 if all the previous work experience is 2174 ? Is it that once we get PER we will only get employment opportunities in 2173 if we apply for 2173 now ? In my economic classes form, question 12 on Work experience, Should I keep as 2174 or 2173 If my previous work experience is 2174 ? Please respond.

Currently as per the forum CIC is charging 21/22/23 May applicant so I guess your fees will be charged after October.

:( That might be too late and I'll have to discontinue to work in Toronto, Canada as my work permit will expire on Oct 28! No BOWP for me then, right? No use of AOR/PER in other words..will have to just wait for PR for few months here, to start working again in Canada?

I requested HR to detail my JD for an application to Executive MBA / HR gave letter of evidense to employment but not detailed JD / I asked my manager by mail to detail my JD / My direct an next level manager acknowledged my duties in detail with JD in mail
In my application I shared the letter from HR / Mail from my Managers with Business card details / Mail from HR saying they cant detail JD
In the mails the purpose I requested is metioned for MBA, but the JD detailed are for what I do in my job . I think its hard to get JD detailed with adressing to CIC especially in current job. If any further details needed CIC will ask or reject application if the docs are not sufficient [if in case] I have placed offer letter / revision letters . my internation experience etc

Well, you've given it your best shot. All the best like I said earlier.

Hello guys,
according to: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

The cap for NOC 2173 is currently 242 this 10 September.

And i won't be able to send my application until November because i haven't completed IELTS and AF yet.

Do you think i will make it before the cap is reached???
or should i wait for Express Entry next year???

I'm confused :(
