Do we really need consultants to apply with CEC? Or we can manage on our own?

Process of obtaining relevant documents for Educational Credential Assessment

Just send me documents to WES and thought of recapping the process for benefits of some of the newer members who are looking for more information on this.

For WES you need 2 key documents:
1. Degree certificates (to be sent by applicant)
2. Photocopies of the mark sheet duly attested by Registrar (Examination) in sealed envelope

I am from M. S. University which is an autonomous university and here is the summary of the process that I went through:

1. I have 2 degrees (Graduation and Post Graduation)
2. Download Transcript Request form from WES website
3. Fill up the first section of the form and take it to your respective college / faculty (not the university) to get it signed by Dean's office. Basically, they would verify that you were the bonafied students and put your roll no. and years of education etc. This will have to for all the degrees that you have obtained and want to get assessed
4. Then take the photocopies of this signed Transcript Request form (keep 2-3 copies) and mark sheets / degree certificates / transcripts
5. Now, you will have to reach out to university for Attestation from Registrar (Exam)'s office. You might have to fill up form and fees for the same.
6. At university, they might ask the original documents to verify (they asked me) so keep original documents also with you.
7. At my university (M. S. University), I had originally put copy of mark sheets only. However, they advised me to put my degree certificate and transcripts as well in the envelope and sealed it. They also attached the original Transcript Request from from WES (signed by faculty / college) in the cover along with the documents. They claimed that daily there are many students apply for WES or other foreign assessment and they are well versed with the process
9. You may have to give a set of copy of Transcript Request Form, Copies of your documents to Registrar's office for their reference.(step 4 reference)
8. Keep envelopes ready with address of WES (for each degree one envelope)
9. They would stamp and sign and seal the envelope. Please obtain the seal on the envelope as well.
10. Now complete the process at WES site (registration and application) and print the summary of application
11. Along with summary of application, put the photo copy of your degree(s) and envelopes obtained from University duly signed and attested.

That's it. You are good to go to WES.

At least I have done so.....hope the process gets through.

Dear Seniors,

I appeared in IELTS in July from IDP. I scored :

L: 6.5
R: 5.5
W: 6
S : 6

Over All : 6

I appeared in IELTS in September from IDP. I scored :

L: 6
R: 5
W: 5.5
S : 6

Over All : 5.5

My consultant told me that by combining the result if we score 6 in each we can put up the file in FSW. Please let me know whether it is right ?

Awaiting your suggestions on the same.

Minimum required score is 6 in each section... if ur score is below 6 ur not eligible.. never heard of combining 2 tests score...ur consultant seems to be interested in his fees only.

My all documents are ready with WES report as well as proof of funds. All I am waiting is of IELTS. The way things are moving I think I will put up my file by October last week. Is it late to apply or it should be fine as the cap may not be full ?

U can send ur documents by end october as cap for HR Is not even close to get filled. so far just 31 applications reached cic for HR, however im not sure what impact express entry will hv on fw applications.

Dear Friends,

I am working with my first company since the last 4 years. I will not be able to get my reference letter (job duties) from my present employer as I am carrying out this immigration process discreetly and I don’t want to put my job at stake. I have my offer letter, appointment letter, promotion letter, salary slips, IT returns, etc.

It will be really helpful if someone can suggest me a way out :'(

Will an affidavit help? Also, I joined this company as an trainee, then became Asst. Manager and now Deputy Manager in the same function. So do I need to have job description for all the three roles seperately or can I just mention the current role?

Inputs from you will be really helpful!

congrats.did you give the debit card pin no. do they accept debit card too

No the card pin was not required on the payment form. and yes, debit cards are acceptable.

NOC 0112 is slowly coming up. I am waiting for my assessment report to submit my application. I believe if I do by mid November, I will still meet the cap.
