I have applied for NOC 0112 this year.
Thought if can be a part of this group & share experiences.

Great amr29. when did you apply? Have you sent PCC with the application?

Anybody received any communication from CIC?? I think they have not yet started working on 0112 NOC...

I have sent the application on 10th, its out for delivery from Ontario as per the latest update.
No i have not sent PCC with the application, if i'ld have applied for PCC application wld have delayed.

Hope this will not create any problem...

I guess so, as per the update on their site no applications have been received for code 0112.

Just visit CIC site & see if your roles & responsibilities tally with one of the occupation codes...

The current employer(one of India's biggest IT companies) refuses to give me my job responsibilities on a letter head saying they do not have a process of issuing such letters and my supervisor also refuses to do so saying it wll be a process violation. Kindly advise how should I go about it. Also the previous employers though they have obliged have mentioned briefly the job responsibilities.

Also is designation critical for applying as IT companies have their own terminology to define roles.

no. designation is not impt as far as job responsibilities match. u would need that letter from your employer. other wise your application might be rejected.. CIC has asked what they want in the letter in their document checklist section

also u can submit Job Description (JD) that you must have got when u first join the company and that should entitle your responsibilities, salary and dates of joining... (submit job offer or appointment letter too).
