Yes, for me is 3.5 mths, and I got RPRF & PPR this morning.

Just got the MR! 8) 8) 8)
I'll send the medical records from my Student visa and hope that it goes smoothly.

Anyone else from the May 19thers?

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. Can someone please guide me.

I have done my medicals back in May, and also submitted my police certificates. Last week on Thursday I received DM updated on ECAS, but haven't heard anything else after that.

The issue is that I haven't been asked to pay RPRF. Is a DM before RPRF a bad news?

How long does it take to hear something from HKVO after DM on ECAS?

Does the HKVO normally send snail mail or email after DM?

Great news! HKVO is awake and working with new updates from people on daily basis, which is such a relief.

I think there are others who were in the situation and got email from HKVO shortly after ECAS DM update requesting payment and passport. If you go through last few pages of this thread you will find more info on exact duration between DM and email requesting passport.

Hi Future Canadian,

I landed in Canada in July, applied for my PR card, and left after a couple of weeks. The PR card was delivered to my friend's address in Canada a few days back. I will now be re-entering from the US later this week, in a private vehicle with just my COPR.

Is it necessary that I should be from a visa-exempt country? I have not come across this requirement before.

Many thanks,

No, but you can't re-enter Canada without it, so you need to have it sent to a trustworthy person who can send it to you.

OR, if you are from a visa-exempt country (meaning you didn't get a visa in your passport, you only got a COPR), you can enter using just your passport and COPR, but you MUST do so in a private vehicle via a land crossing--no plane, ferry, train or bus. That means you'd have to fly to the US and rent a car or have someone drive you in a car.
