hello

did ANYONE receive any news from HKVO in the past 1.5 months?

might be slow due to holiday season.... :(

Nope. Docs reached VO on May 26th, but not a word since that first email.
Since I've got a Letter of Acceptance from a College, I've applied for a Student Permit. Hopefully I'll get my PR while already there 8)

We are in the last stage of the process. 3rd line - medical results are received and all requested documents were sent in early June. I just notice that my daughter's passport will be due mid 2016 (ie one year from now). As the passport will be used for visa, any recommendation what we should do now? re-new the passport now?, but it will make it different from what we submitted.

How long does it take normally for Decision made from all doc sent?

many thanks.

Hi I am thinking to renew my daughter's passport (due mid next year) although we have not received DM yet after required supplementary doc/ payment done in early Jun. The reason behind is that we will be required to first land by May 2016 (our MR done in May 2015) if application goes smooth. Usual requirement to enter one country is to have your passport valid at least 6 months down the road. If DM made and visa issued on her new passport, this will give us more flexibility to schedule our landing. otherwise, we will be squeezed to do before Dec 2015 and after once HKVO visa issue.

But i have one concern that will renewal of my daughter's passport make our submission inconsistent to the passport we sent to HKVO for application. Making the application complicated.

Your advice is welcome and appreciated.
Thanks.

Anyone who has heard from our VO ? Other VOs have requested medicals, pprs and issued visas last week for fsw 2014 applicants... Why not our VO? Those who can access the website for Chinese applicants, could u share if we are all the same with them? ???

Seems that bjvo move quite smooth and they got pp/dm within 1mth after MR.

Its been 2 months that I didn't heard any news from hkvo after my MR, such a long waiting...

Same here. MR done in mid May 2015. All doc including RPRF sent end May.

HKVO has been very quiet lately. :(
There were few of provincial nominees who received Medical requests from HKVO in early July.
2 days ago, two applicants from the skilled worker category claimed their ECAS status has changed to Decision Made, and yet received passport requests.
We could assume HKVO is working but slowly and no sequence.
I am the May applicant, who is still in the waiting game.

Good Luck to all of us.

We are October applicants. Received pcc May 19th. We were a little late getting them in but know they were received July 2nd (2 weeks late).
We have not heard anything back, no medical requests either.

Patient is everything, i am 11 Aug applicant and coming to anniversary on next week ???

I can't figure out why the online status suddenly said that pending my documents which i had already declare 3 times to cic and hkvo that i dont have, i sent them in written mail and provide other supporting documents, they seems like keep ignoring things and waiting until u can submit what they want. Today i send the email explains again, and i really don't want to declare 5th times. >:(
