anyone knows how to inform HKVO about address change?
via email only or must submit thru CSE? also need to submit updated IMM008 Generic application form.

CSE is the proper way to do it
 
I have problem to assess the email platform for query/reply to HKVO. When i copy the link in HKVO confirmation email, it does notwork after running some time in browser. But it worked 2 months ago. Anyone has the same problem?

Hi everyone,

I just received a passport request and decision made from HKVO, I have some questions about submit passport and photos as below.
My situation is:
- I am staying in Canada right now, and will back to HK on 8 Oct, 2015
- I paid the RPRF before when I sent the full application to Mississauga
- I am holding a HKSAR passport (visa-exempt passport)

Can I do it separately? such as, I submit my passport and RPRF receipt via online? and the photos via mail/courier from Canada to HKVO?

First of all, congratulations!

Afaik, within the email there's an observation about being in Canada. You can send a CSE to HKVO and Ottawa and, after getting their OK, your passport and photos are stamped in Canada. No need to send anything all the way down to HK.

I am tired of waiting all this time, they asked for documents on May 19 and heard nothing till now
Does HK VO have a long vacation in Summer ? why do they need a long time to finish our files ?

Same here, getting tired... It's not really a good feeling when other VOs have been active!

Me too, but its not like we have a choice.... :(
Let's just hope that when they do start working that it will be quick processing. I still do not understand RPRF so early in the process like it was for collective May 19th request to all. The way things are right now, I do not expect my case to be completed before November anyway (11 months average processing time) and would be satisfied with whatever timing though as long as the outcome is positive :)
Let's just keep each other informed on any progress.
We have one decision made reported (CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!) so VO is working, at least that's good to know.
 
Do you guys think getting our police certificates in a week late could lead to a refusal? They did say that in the email :( when I checked our status, it dies still day, in process.
So frustrating not hearing anything and it's been 2 months since we submitted the police certificates.

I did the pcc 4 mths ago, still in endless waiting.....

Relax... being panic and frustrated will not help or give you any good.
no news is good news. as long as your status is still "in process" that means it's still going on. keep in faith.
in the meantime, make your time more useful while waiting.. earn and safe more money, upgrade your skills, etc etc so when the time comes you're more than ready ;D
no worries, if it is your destiny then noone can take it away from you.

What does Nomination mean? I see many people with a nomination date within their statuses.
