Hi! Those who were asked for additional documents on May 17th , our deadline will be tomorrow! Hope all of us met this? We will again wait after June 19th... Does anyone know how long should we wait for another update from them?

Yep, 1 month since RPRF and PCC and nothing...

I thought we had a new pattern from HKVO, but just now I saw on the spreadsheet that MRs have been sent from there the last few days and, apparently, no RPRF payment was requested. Perhaps these applicants didn't have to send any PCC/birth certificate and that's why they were different, but still... totally unpredictable.

It could be that, as I click on "Post" now, MR and PPR will arrive at my Inbox. Or it could take months to get MR and a few more for PPR. I'll drink to that.

Nothing is clear, we just need to wait
My docs received by VO a week ago, and as we all know they do not confirm that
I am going to order CAIPS notes to check what is going on

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit?pli=1

This spreadsheet is populated by the applicants. If you go to "Times" tab, you can see it more clearly. Around row 1175 starts the MRs and you can see that there's been a couple on June 15th and another on the 9th. Quite old applications, though.

Congratulations! Could you please share your timeline, I was not able to find you in the spreadsheet and it would help us understand better what VO is working on. Thanks you

Also, bestwishes and other lucky folks who got passport request, I would appreciate if you could help with the one concern: did HKVO state clearly in PPR what is the requirement for the passport? One or two or three empty pages or there was no defence to this point? I know some other VOs state this, but not sure about HKVO. Thank you

It's good to know VO is active, although it seems no one got an update yet from May 19th request PCC & RPRF group. At least it's quiet on my end :)

Thx....I just sent out my documents to HKVO today. Hope to receive my PR visa soon!!

Here is my timeline:
Appl: 22nd Aug 2014
AOR: 14th Jan 2015
MR: 26 Mar 2015
PCC: 23 Apr 2015
RPRF, PPR & DM: 19 Jun 2015
Yes, there is requirement for your passport as follows:
Check that your passport(s) is/are all in good condition and that there are at least two (2) blank pages. We cannot accept passports which have torn pages, damaged laminates or mismatched passport numbers (at the picture page and passport page), and these will be immediately returned to you without any visa.

HKVO seems active again, wish you hear good news soon!!

Q and A between me and HKVO
The A is useless :-X

Q
Enquiry: To whom it may concern, We are on the almost last stage of permanent residence application. Since 12 May, on line services shows: Medical results have been received. We are currently in Hong Kong. My husband got a job offer in Canada and he will begin working on 1 Sep. (His job is work permit exempted and only visitor record is needed) We have ordered air tickets to Canada of 1 July already. I am wondering if it is possible for us to get our permanent residence visas before late June in Hong Kong? Or you will send our files to Canada to process? I strongly hope to get the PR visa before we move. Please let me know if it is possible..

The answer isn't useless. It told you exactly where you are in the process. For whatever reason, you are still undergoing background screening. That being the case, as it is already June 24 there is no chance at all for you to get your visa in time to land on July 1. That's unfortunate, but now you know. Good luck for speedy resolution.

We are in the last stage of the process. 3rd line - medical results are received and all requested documents were sent in early June. I just notice that my daughter's passport will be due mid 2016 (ie one year from now). As the passport will be used for visa, any recommendation what we should do now? re-new the passport now?, but it will make it different from what we submitted.

How long does it take normally for Decision made from all doc sent?

many thanks.
