Also, applied of EE 2015 and I don't think there' s a chance in anytime soon. My marks is only 351, don't think I can get into the pool unless i can get a job offer there.

Did yoy try to call CIO ? they may tell you about your file

Some have visas but they seems to be proceeding very slowly. Almost like they are handling one case at a time LOL

Application received on 10 dec 2014
Called the call centre and learnt that they post me a letter on 20/1/2015 but I still have not received yet... Likely lost....
Have UCI no but could not search anything from system with that no...
No credit card payment is charged

Should I regard my case as being rejected???

Is there any special group for Hong Kong applicants to follow ? I mean QQ or Wechat group

from hk and received PER on jan 9 2015 and no update since then. Really worry now as they update the processing time to 11 mths...

Welcome!

I wouldn't expect an update yet. For most people it's about 2 months between PER and AOR. Plus or minus. You'll hear from them soon. It does seem the processing times are a bit longer, as nobody has heard from HKVO for weeks. It's frustrating, but there's no need to worry.

Received PER in January. Does anyone know if i studied in Canada for few years, do i need to contact any Canadian department for background and criminal check or does the Visa Office does that themselves?

As i can start the check before i receive the medical request.

No need to submit PCC for Canada as it is mentioned in the guide:

You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide:

valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six (6) consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
