waiting still, God Willing my CC is Charged today.

but one question came to my mind.
1. Canada is way behind us on the Time front (is is usually opposite as when its day here its night in Canada)
2. When a CC is charged usually the CC company calls for a verification. when will the call happen.
3. and if someone tries to charge today but the call is confirmed tomorrow how does CIC know that the charge is approved.

You could try calling your credit card issuing company and tell them to leave the card "open" for x amount of months and authorize the company to process any charge, but you will have to be monitoring your credit card or ask the company if there's a way that they can send you a text message to your cellular phone every time there's a transaction. This way CIC won't give up on trying to process your card. This works in my country, hope it works in yours as well.

I m 2172 NOC applicant, my application was recieved on 24th December, 2014.
No DD is charged yet...

as per information of different December month applicants, it might be the next week when DD will be charged against all applicants who applied in between 15th Dec to 25th Dec.

Its my own opinion.

Amen to that....please do post if you are notified of DD being cleared. My application reached CIC on 23rd Dec...so I'm waiting too. Just this morning I checked and it hadn't cleared yet :
