Hi Amir,

Don't get Panic do the below steps it worked out to me, I have sent my file for 2172 on Dec2 and first swipe made by CIC on Jan 28th. But my card declined due to insufficient balance I am not be increase my limit. So did as below and got charged by CIC successully on second attempt using new credit card on Jan 30 th.

1. Fill the fee's payment form sign it and scan it and send to CIC mail box with Subject address
as "Urgent Decline of Credit Card for your NOC code".
2. In the cover letter address it to CIC stating the reason why you are producing new credit card.

They will get back to you within a day and will charge your CC.

CC charging has been stopped for noc 2172 from Dec 10, you can see this trend from global spreadsheet.

Please be patient till CC charging/DD encashment resumes.

Hi All,
can anybody help me or advise??
my file was recieved at CIC on 10th december 2014, and i called CIC last thursday 12/12/2014 to check the status for my app, and the lady told me that my file is still waiting, which means that it didn't return back yet, ok Huh

Today i realized that i did a stupid mistake, which is i sent a debit card number not a credit card
so i sent them an email and will call CIC again today or tomorrow, bcz today is off, and ask them if they can hold my file untill i send them a new fee form

any suggestions brothers Huh?

isn't possible that your debit card be charged ? just confirm with the bank.

my debit card is already charged more than enough, but the problem was from my bank, that i realized that the maximum limit per day for online charge is less than the amount which should deduct from me,

so i sent CIC another form wz new credit card, and called them yesterday but unfortunately the advised that my file returned back three days ago due to failure in charging
so i have to apply in new express entry

My application received date is 17th December 2014 for NOC 3234, y'day I have spoken with CIC regarding my application status and the lady officer informed me that my application was returned on 12th January 2015 and when I asked about the reason, she mentioned that the “Birth Certificate” was not available with the application, but I have already sent “Affidavit cum declaration ( If in case Birth certificate not available)” since my Birth Proof was not available to CIC.

In this case can I resend my application to CIC with cover note mentioning about substitute declaration which was already attached? Do they going to consider my application for FSW 2014? When I can expect a delivery of my returned application?

My lawyer also doesn't have any appropriate answer on this, plz advice.

First at all, thnx for ur reply, actually i did all the steps as u said, even b4 i read ur comment, but after calling CIC and told them that i sent another payment form, but unfortunately they told me the file was returned back to me and i hv to apply in new express entry

So sorry to hear this, your consultant should have told you that CIC don't accept affidavit for age declaration. For FSW14 is over there is no need resending your application. Please go for EE
