I am new on this forum, but just wanted to share the good news that my CC got charged just couple of hours back. I am a Dec 5th applicant.

I believe I shall be waiting for an email from CIC after CC is charged.

Congratulations and thanks for sharing this news.
It is an evidence that CIO is not closed today due to snow storm as predicated by some of the forum members.

Hope that CIO will continue to charge also 8th December applicants.

Sorry if am talking out of context of this thread. But, I am in real urgent need of advice! ****

My friend's application was recieved by CIC on 5th Dec and unfortunately his CC charge by CIC was declined today due to to low international transaction limit on his CC. He already requested the concerned bank and got the limit updated to required level after he received the decline alert.

Now, he wants to get in touch with CIC and request them to reconsider charging his card towards application fee.

Please please share any email address he can shoot an email to that helps him. He contacted the call center but they simply advised him to refer to website, but did not provide any email address.

Please please help!

I believe CIC will try three times before they reject. He can call the CIC call centre and ask them.
