i just called cic and the agent told me that "decision made" on ecas mean that the application was sent to a final review.
so my application now is at the final stage being reviewed by a senior officer. Moreover, he told me that this process takes about 4 months. so if i didnt hear anything by may 6th i should call them back. l o l
They must be kidding

The agent doesn't know what he's talking about or he is hiding something from you.

yea that's weird. no one has ever posted anything like that before. usually a decision made mean DECISION MADE. what's there to review more? it is not written anywhere that a decision made means that the file was sent to a final review. what can he be hiding

Now that it is already decision made, what are they still waiting for???

Oh, That's good. Congrats to your friend, which also proves that the call center people just say something nonsense.

Hopefully the rest of us can get it in this week.

I am so tired of waiting...

Guys,
I have a question and would appreciate your valued feedback, When does your actual physical presence start counting , 1-when you complete your landing or 2- when you receive your PR card?

Many Thanks,
Kerdek

When you complete your landing - COPR is the proof

Thank you AliMo. Last question please, My plan is to be in Canada before July 2016, lets say June. In order to apply for the citizenship you will need to fulfill 2 requirements:

1- have to stay physically 1,460 days (4 years) within the 6 years period.
2- Stay at least 6 months (183 days) of the 4 Calendar years so it would count as a year.

Saying that , if I land in June the 30 and stay till the end of the year ( completed the 183 days) then the 2016 will count as a full year. (Year 1)
Complete 2017 (Year 2)
Complete 2018 (Year 3)
Complete 2019 (Year 4)
Complete 2020 (Year 5)
Complete 2021 (Year 6)

So actually, I will be entitled to get the citizenship in 5 years (from 2016-2021) because I completed 6 CALENDAR years starting from June 2016.
Is my understanding Correct??

Many thanks,
Kerdek

Unfortunately I've no clue about citizenship but i've searched and found out the following calculator
https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/rescalc/resCalcStartNew.do

as well as the following form:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/citizen/CIT0407E-2.pdf

Hope you find what you are looking for there.
