I just found out today that an email for passport request was sent yesterday. I didn't visit this thread for over month as i try not to think too much of my application anymore. My medical was submitted last August!

I'm urging colleagues who received either an update on their eCas or received their PPR to update the Global Spreadsheet.
It's been very long since it was updated by a single CPC-Ottawa applicant.

Hi guys,

I got the passport request email 5 minutes ago.

My application date was Nov 28, 2014 and my file was transferred to Ottawa on the 17th of February 2015.
Also, according to the GCMS notes, my group was for 31st March 2016.

I filed mid October, file transfer mid jan, Medicals req: end April, had to defer medical until July cuz of pregnancy ( has a boy) medical received updated on October 12th. No DM just direct RFV email.

Yea. But since VAC staff doesn't know jack about immigration visas, request the manager to call NDVO if they refuse to send the passport (they have a phone number). You don't need CPC-O permission. Stamping can be done at any CIC office.
