Anyone knows how long it takes to get the passport stamped and returned back with the permanent resident visa?

I am an early December applicant and have not yet received RFV email yet. I have a travel plan, leaving Canada on Jan 30 and returning on Feb 17.

It's written in the mail that they sent me that they would not return the passport by regular mail ..

This is a DIRECT quote from my RVF letter:

If you do not submit a return prepaid Xpresspost envelope or a pre-paid Canada Post shipping label, or if you provide an envelope from any other courier, we will return your passport by regular mail.

Up to 30 days, but usually they send it back in a week.

I received my ppr from cpco however with canada and us visa office mailing address.

Since few months i m in India and i had informed the same to cpco that i would need to send my pp to indias vo
and still they missed out on it.

Kindly advice if i can still go ahead and send my pp to Indias vo?

I would advise to proceed via VAC in India, because otherwise New Delhi VO will return the pp by regular mail.

They must have changed the policy. It looks like they won't ship without a prepaid Xpresspost label.

GOT the PPR!!! I was waiting for DM to come but instead I got the RFV Letter this morning. Cant believe it, I woke up this morning and BOOOB it exploded in my face. I was having a party 5 o'clock in the morning and I almost woke up the neighbors. So happy!!!!
I hope all others get their PPR whiten these coming days.For me, I am gonna take not only one day but three days off. I really want to punch my boss in the face right now , but telling myself keep calm and wait for a better moment.
