Dear friends,

It's my first time to put a question on your thread.
I'm a CPC Ottawa applicant who's file was received on the end of November. I got my TLU on mid-July and till moment there's no updates from them
My received CAIPS Notes in October reveals the following:

- Latest Update 15/8/2015
- Group Name: RFV ->31/3/2016
- Location: FSW- Appears RFV

Notes:
- 15/8/2015 - Application Appears RFV - Sent to Officer Review
- 15/8/2015 - Received all pending docs

Does the phrase "Received all pending docs" mean that they will not requested any additional documents or updates from me?, including but not limited to an updated bank statement?
The problem is that I've withdrawn my funds from the bank as my country has a fluctuating currency exchange market and I'm now keeping them at home.
The what if scenario I would like to take your advice on is what if they request an update on my Proof of Funds? Is that possible?

I think your case is way past asking you for a new bank statement. The RFV means ( Ready for Visa) and the final deadline will not exceed 31/3/2016 (Which is a deadline for most of us). Currently, CIC just needs to do a final check with all the current documents (As stated above "Sent to Officer Review") and then make the final decision (DM) and later on the PPR, so keep cool and wait for the good news.

There's really no straight forward answer...the RFV should be a good sign.

I haven't seen anyone who got asked to send additional documents or letters after MR from cpc-ottawa. however, i read last week that another visa office has been requested to send proof of funds and another applicant to fill out other forms even after MR.

Hi Harysaini,
Did they mention a deadline date? for example: <31/3/2016?

they did ..
it was 2015/11/16..
but that of no significance as the date already passed when i got my GCMS notes and no action was taken ..

So the big question is, Did any of us pass his/her medical anniversary date and was asked to redo it again? if this didn't occur and is not the general practice, then we should be expecting the DM and PPR before the expiry of our medicals. what do you think guys?

I worry about the same thing too.

However, if there is just one or two cases, it is possible. Since so many people are waiting, CIC should not do such stupid thing to all of us.

So let's looking forward to good news after New year!

Yes it happened at London via office. They asked then to redo médicales.

Does anyone figure out why they are delaying processing FSW 2014 files? Is it a matter of prioritizing EE applicants, refugess or what else?

As I see It is not only a CPC-Ottawa issue but seems like a widespread delay for many FSWs in several visa offices around the world.. Bucharest for example has become very slow in a a way such that I haven't received even MR after 14 months of applying, and when I saw my GCMS notes last week, I found them worthless because nothing has started after such a long time. even if one tries to email them, they respond with a copy paste reply like they do not care about the whole matter at all. >:( >:( so chill out guys, at least your are at a better position in comparison to others whose files have not been touched so far.

Hope all of you to receive good news soon.

Hello everyone, I guess I am asking a repeatedly asked question, 'How to request GCMS notes'? I was not thinking of requesting but now that the timelines are getting stretched, I wish to see my GCMS notes I hope to get these notes atleast in time. Please advise.

It is not a matter of number of printed visas. Ottawa is not working on our application because of Express entry and refugees:

I neither found any mention of refugees on the article, which is primarily tackling CEC applicants, nor any official statement that the express entry is the cause of the delay, but i find it fine to make a buzz with CIC
