I have sent an email to those turtles(no offense!!!) if they received my MR, I attached IME1017 and other docs that showing my ME is done. got a reply from them, they received my MR. Thats all. Still waiting for TLU since june 26 2015.

After how many days did you get a reply from them ..I waited for 10 days after my doc sent them the medicals but when I got no TLU I sent them a email on the 25th ..no reply from them till now ..and since I see everyone who have got the medicals done 2-3 weeks before me still waiting ..I think CPCO is going to take a lot of time sending replies to all of us ..!!

Man what's happened to everyone ..no interaction..no sharing info ..the whole room has kinda died down or have the majority of people already received there visa and done with there landing ..lol
Yes, I think most of people have finished their landing. Just several of us are still waiting. BTW, seems it is not only CPC, some other visa offices are also no updates after Medical. It should be CIC, they don't update. But don't know why. However, there are still a few of people get TLU recently. Soooooo confused ???

Hey guys,

Couple of quick questions.

1. For all those who have already received theirs passports stamped with Visas and are currently in US, did you send your passports via FedEx, etc.? Isn't it illegal to send the passport outside of the country you are residing in for stamping?

2. While I continue to wait for my PPR, I am planning to move back to India some time in October. My question is how should I go about submitting the passport once I move back to India. Will I still have to submit the same to Ottawa office or can I request and make the submission at NDVO as well? Based on what I have read, it is illegal to send your passport outside of India and none of the courier service provide any services. I read couple of people actually travelled all the way to Canada on tourist visa to get their passports stamped. There has to be an easier way than that.

Please advise.

It is a pleasure for me. I just wanted to consolidate all the info I could in one place. The red underlined stuff in the infographic are the financial programs offered by the govt. Do look at it. I will keep updating this infographic as and when I get time.

:)

1. Yes it is. But many people have done it, including me, successfully. Alternatively, you can send them an email and request to get the visa printed from NY or Cali visa office.

2. If you move to India, you may request them to get your visa printing done from NDVO. There is now way they will return your passport back to India even if you send it to them to Ottawa from India. They only return passports within North America.
But you cannot change your visa office for processing. So I am not sure what would happen if they want to interview you. The chances of that are extremely low though.

Thanks Vinaj. I do have representative/attorney in Toronto so he can definitely send it back to me. The problem is sending it to Canada and receiving it back. He says I will have to send it to Ottawa and as you said I can't change my VO.
Arghhh, they have been sitting on the decision for 3 months now. Only if they could be more proactive! Its just one stupid letter.

Just finished my landing and returned after taking care of a few things. I was carrying the PR Card Application documents with me but to my surprise, the visa officer returned the documents to me and stated that she has made the application for PR Cards on my behalf. I was happy at the time, but now I am worried if the PR Card application can be initiated by the immigration officer like this. Has anyone else who has landed recently at Toronto gone through the same experience. Is there a way to find out if the PR Card application has been made and is in process?

Please let me know....

Send CPCO an email that you are planning to go back to India and if possible you would want your passports stamped before that if possible. (Ofc in a nicer way)

There is nothing wrong in letting them know

Hey,

At least you have some progress now. Perhaps you will hear good news very soon.
Until now, I just have two lines, no additional lines at all.
When did you see the ECAS updated? This morning or just now?
BTW, can I ask which visa officer reply your email? I also got their reply last week, but still, no progress at all :(

Good luck!
