I have started getting bad thoughts now ..guys help me out what are the chances of getting a rejection after SLU..I mean have they done the verification by now ..or they do the verification after SLU ??

I've searched for an answer for the same question before but found nothing.
Seems having a SLU means 99% an MR is on the way. I could find no clue for the 1% failure rate.

Don't worry man. There has been no news for couple of days (NO PPR, no MR). Probably they are working on EE. Your turn hopefully will come soon.

ya man ..i have been looking at the same thing ..but found a very few people waiting for a long time after SLU but did not find anyone who was rejected after SLU..

any news from the egyptian thread lately..
the process is gone so slow ..a snail can beat it now..lol

i really wish so..the frustration is its already been 7.5 months from the date of my application.. generally FSW 2014 has finished in that time frame..and there is no way of getting any update from any place.

And even after getting MR people are not getting PPR immediately so the delay is getting really frustrated..

Dude even though I am new to this forum and obviously you guys have more experience than me but if its any consolation I just finished 1 year from the day my application was received. Before joining this forum I was pretty comfortable considering that the official processing time is still 18 months for Ottawa. But now I see people getting through in 8-9 months period. So that is bit of a concern. But all we can do is stay patient man!

Before joining this forum I was pretty comfortable considering that the official processing time is still 18 months for Ottawa. But now I see people getting through in 8-9 months period. So that is bit of a concern. But all we can do is stay patient man!

My friend in India had applied on Sep 3 and is still waiting for MR. He got his SLU on April 16th. But he is so relaxed as he doesn't know anything. His agent is looking after his file. He emailed New delhi VO sometime back and they said its still under process and he got back to normal.

anyways, you all should just your pr in next 2 months and thats it... ;D

vinaj the point is you know files in india take around 1 year to get processed so a person is mentally prepared..
but when you see majority of files getting processed in 8 months time period ...including you..
you had to wait long for your PPR and then your passport but still the whole process was 8.5 months..
thats what is irritating..anyways i think i woke up on the wrong side of the bed today...

I agree with Vinaj. Less you know better you feel. And I know the frustration man. We all have those weeks. In fact I have spent half a decade trying to become permanent first in US and now in Canada. And that is a very long wait. I would say just grab a drink or two this evening and you will be fine tomorrow

Don't panic buddy.
Cic is probably busy clearing out the express entry backlog. They have promised 6 months processing time for express entry. Leftover FSW application will commence soon.

i know..but problem is i think there are only few of us left ..so why not finish FSW 2014 and then put all your force into clearing Express entry..anyways..another day ..lets see what happens ..!!
