nayak man ..its like 160+ days for you since PER ..and you stay in Canada..i don't know what's taking so long they have come to a grind halt since the last 2 months !!

Wow!! your timeline looks really long. You are a July applicant, and you finished your medicals in JANUARY, and still no signs of a PPR?? ....Holy sheits!! And I thought I've been waiting for the PPR the longest. That is exactly why I ordered my GCMS notes last month and should get it by the 20th of Aug.

I'm really not sure what is happening with Ottawa visa office, and what methodology they implement to have so much variation in waiting time without any observable difference in cases.

It might be a good idea for you to order your GCMS notes to find out what's going on, since your medical will expire this coming January 2016. They will definitely need to send the PPR before that. Man..... these people are something else!! :

I had new baby last week in Canada,, Do I have to tell VO office.

The baby is Canadian born and I don't think that might affect the process right,,

I already got PPR and don't want to delay the process

I think it depends on where you are. I'm in the US, so I could not order the GCMS directly. I ordered it through www.caipsnotes.com on the 15th of July and they said I should receive them before the 23rd of Aug (so roughly 5-ish weeks). I'm told if you are in Canada it might be a week or so quicker.

That's a very long timeline. Update your timeline on the left if possible. And order gcms notes asap if not done yet. If u r outside Canada you will have to order it through some agency, they will change around 25-30 CAD but it's worth it at this moment.

Thanks Captain and Nayak. I do have a representative in Canada and had just sent him a note this evening. Hopefully we will submit request by tomorrow.

I have started getting bad thoughts now ..guys help me out what are the chances of getting a rejection after SLU..I mean have they done the verification by now ..or they do the verification after SLU ??

Nayak - Could you throw some more light on what you received on these notes? Was it helpful in determining how soon you should hear back on the decision in the future or did it only carry notes on past analysis (what the visa officer saw and how he determined your eligibility, etc.).
