congratulations, freexyg :)
seems GB01592 is handling the files of applicants who've been waiting for long :/

Yes you are right Alimo, i have a doubt most of the other officers are working on Express Entry files.

I am not married yet, they requested me to send my passport or before it, send if I intend to get married; I should send them a letter on when and where this marriage is expected to take place.

my concern is should I send passport to expedite my process and then after landing to submit spousal sponsorship ? ? or should I send a letter of my intended marriage and risk the delay in my application...

please advice.
thanks again

Was just reading the posts and saw many of you guys earnestly waiting for MR (and other next steps) for months now.

Thought shall send you best wishes. I guess CIC is short-staffed and they defer decision making towards the completion of one year from the date of application.

So cheer up. Good news must be on its way soon. Try to engage in something else, and be surprised.

Regards

I will once again reply to your question.

It all depends on when you intend to marry. if you are getting married before landing and wish to take your spouse with you, you have to let them know. It might delay your process a little bit as they will have to issue his/her visa too (not sure how it works). If you are getting married after you finish landing, then finish landing, get married and then apply for pr for your spouse. All the best

PCC is valid upto 1 year from date of issuance... Include only what they asked for... And if you already have from your home country, send it

The answers can be found below in the information from the CIC Website. The bold emphasis is mine to highlight those parts that are pertinent to you.

Who needs a police certificate?

In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18. (For example, if you lived in a country for eight months but left on a two-week vacation, that counts as living there for eight months.)

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.
