I do not have that, but according to others, I believe it says like below

‘we start process your application on (a date)"

How does one find out that info?
As far as eCAS is concerned my application is still sitting in Sydney since they no longer tell you if it's transferred.

Hi Harry,

I will. But I guess no one has the information unless they were requested to submit the document or get the MR.

Still, have a try first.

I seriously think if we don't hear soon, we will need to start a therapy group for the Early December Leftovers. ;D

It should be the first line. But you know your file is in Ottawa right?
Yes, usually we do not know who is the officer until get the MR email.
But sometime, they may send the email to request some further documents, then we will know who is the officer from the letter.
That's why I want to ask.

No, I do not know if my file is in Ottawa. There is no indication of it online in eCAS. The last communication I have is the PER email from Sydney.

Here is a copy/paste of my 1st and 2nd lines:

1.We received your application for permanent residence on December 24, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on May 29, 2015.

If you applied from the US or Canada your case will be processed by Ottawa. After receipt in Sydney and PER they send it to whatever your VO office is...so if yours is Ottawa it should be in Ottawa. 2nd line update will come when they actually start doing something else with it.

And here is 3rd and 4th:
3. Medical results have been received.
4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Who knows why they process files in the way that they do. It is odd that the ones from earlier in December are not being processed and many from later December are being processed. I hope you early December folks hear something soon. Don't think negatively. It can't be bad for all of you...Maybe they had them in order by date and grabbed a stack and gave some to one officer and then grabbed the next stack and gave them to another officer and whatever officer got the early December files is just a slower worker. Who knows?

Thanks kwyatt75 and vinaj. This is helpful.

Hi, I am collapsing.

Canada Post lost my passport and landing paper....It says delivered but not in my mail box.

What should I do?

Have you verified the tracking number with USPS? I believe USPS takes it from Canada Post and delivers it in the US.

Also check the label that you sent them. And check other mail boxes or with your neighbours or building manager. My postman does that frequently. (I know all this sounds stupid)

Don't panic, you will be fine.
