GUYS AND GIRLS-- :D ;D

HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE WE RECEIVED OUR INDIAN PASSPORTS BACK WITH THE PR VISA FROM NEW YORK CONSULATE. I WAS WAITING, WAITING AND FINALLY IT ARRIVED. :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*

THANKS TO EVERYBODY-PARTICULARLY SSPT, GRACE, JITHESH, DIPLOMATRU.

My wife is 3 months pregnant and our landing should be before December 15, 2015.

1. We want to initially do a landing by car--stay for 2-3 days and return--Which port of entry should I select. BTW, I am from the state of Virginia.

2. Is it ok if we make landing in September 2015 or will it be a problem that my wife is pregnant :-\?

3.Also She had TB 20 years ago and she is completely cured. She received a Medical Surveillance form which she must report in 30 days. Because we will not be staying for more than 2-3 days, what should my wife explain to the Border officer

Please advise

Thanks

Did you pay off/own the title to your vehicle already or did you have to get something from your bank allowing you to export the vehicle?

Dear All,

We made our Landing process last May 6th, 2015, from Florida, US. The process was really smooth, I made first the exportation process for my car on the US side (Lewiston Port, only port that process exports for vehicle in the US side) and then went to the Canada side. We spent like 45 minutes doing both US and Canada side. The Canada officers were very polite and friendly, they asked us for the Proof of Funds, but it was more like "do you have it? but if you don't have it that is OK", so I would recommend anyway everybody to bring the Proof of Funds.

Hope this info will help.

Congrats Jmujica....

Same here. Did my landing yesterday through this small border location Osoyoos in BC. No rush. No one before or after me. The officer didn't ask for anything at all. Just wrote my address on a piece of paper. He went and came back after 10 min and we signed the CPR. He offered to take a pic with the flag which we gladly accepted.

A very pleasant experience. Good luck to everyone.

CPC-O does not send AOR.

You may have to wait upto 100 days after PER for getting MR (which is next step)

Oh okay, i thought so.

Thank You so much for the information :)

Hi kwyattt75,

I paid off the vehicle to the bank, the title had to be on my name, in fact, for the exportation process you have to probe the vehicle is paid off with the title, in other words the vehicle must be completely yours.

Therein will be my dilemma. I still owe too much on my vehicle. I could pay of my auto loan but that would use up all of funds in savings that I will need for proof of funds. I have read that if your bank (lienholder) will provide you with permission to export the vehicle that it can be done. However, I haven't heard of anyone actually doing that. I will likely have to sell my vehicle and then buy a new one in Canada or land with my POF and then after landing pay off the vehicle and export it. Thanks for sharing.

I would like to congratulate everybody here for receiving MR / PPR / or passports with visa Nd COPR
Wish u all the best :D

I'm happy today just received my passport with visa and COPR :)
FSW process officially ends and new journey begins
Thanks all for ur support :D

Note: for all Egyptians I got my PPR from Ottawa and I sent request to have my visa from Cairo VO
But I didn't get any response so I sent my passport with RFV mail + my mail to Ottawa + automatic reply
Along with two photos "same I used for MR" + extra sheet includes height & eye color "I didn't get request for both"
And finally it works my passport reaches on 3rd May and today I got it back

Folks, I need your help again.I am almost getting my passport back from CPC-O. If I land in Canada in July can I immediately go to my country and then come back to Canada again with my newly issued visa? in other words, is the FSW track visa a multiple entry visa? Thank you!
