Hi Guys, I hope everyone is doing well, especially during this difficult and nerve wracking process!

I have a question regarding adding a spouse to a FSW 2014 PR application. Below is my timeline - I have gone through a reputed law firm and have done what they have advised.

Applied - Oct 23rd 2014
PER - Jan 26th 2015
Request for my PCC (india, fbi, rprf, MR) - Mar 13th 2015 (response required within 60 days)
My FBI, India PCC, RPRF receipt (sent)- April 9th 2015

---

Married - Dec 12th 2014
Sent Spouse Documents - Mar 30th 2015
Request for proof of Marriage from CIC and Spouse FBI PCC - April 7th 2015 (response required within 30 days)
Documents that prove Marriage received - April 29th 2015

Currently awaiting Spouse FBI PCC.

I have been advised by lawyer not to take MR till they process my wife's application - does any one here know how long they take to add spouse like this? Given my situation when can I expect MR for us both

Any insight into what the process is will be of great help.

Again I wish all my fellow applicants best of luck and peace of mind!

Thanks

My suggestion would be for you to call CIC and verify with them. Since they already sent you MR on March 15th giving you 60 days, I would want to make sure that waiting is OK with CIC. Yes, you send in info to add your wife but considering that it could take more than the 60 days I would just check with them as to whether they want you to the MR now or wait and do it at the same time with your wife.

I don't have any personal experience with an addition like this but I'm just sharing what I would do if I were in your position.

Now for MR CIC is giving 60 days? Earlier it was 30 days...anyways I would wait for few more days and take appointment towards end of 60 days hopin CIC would have taken care of my wife's application!!!

Past the CIC letter here

Hi Diplo bro,
First of all thanks for the support you have provided. hope you are enjoying your holidays. I have a small query for which I wanted your advice. Please reply as and when it is suitable. Actually I could not post a PM to you.

As you know:
1.)I did SP medical on 19th MArch 2015.
2.) Got MR for PR app on 25th March 2015.
3.) All docs reached embassy on 29th March(including SP medical receipts).
4.) Have emailed the cover letter and the scanned docs to the embassy the same day.

Its been close to 40 days since MR, but my third line is not updated. I was advised by you that its the job of the VO to attach both IME's. Please advice whats the procedure of third line updation in this case. And am I staring at some delay in PPR(due to connection of medical receipts)??

Your advice will soothe me a lot. Thanks so much again. May God bless you for being such a nice soul.

Thanks a Lot.

I'm just wondering if CIC call centre agents have different access to your files?

I was told by two agents in the past that it's at final review stage and today someone told me they're currently at background checks

I'm confused. Or do they simply wish not to be bothered?

Did Any PPR recipients got their 4th Line updated today?
Since Tuesday is their official day for updating e-CAS status. Just curious.

That is what you were told or it is somebody else case?

My letter says 60 days

"... The above information/documents must be received in our office within 60 days from the date of this e-mail. Please quote your complete application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the address indicated above.
If we do not hear from you within 60 days, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused. ..."

I think they have the same system and the same access to files. Try to call one more time, maybe another agent tells you more clear answer.
