Nice to hear the good news Grace. Looks like it won't be long for you now.
Grace, Was you medical done before it was requested?
I am just double checking as I am going to send and email my documents today.
Sorry to sound repetitive. I just want to make sure it's ok I can use my e-medicals from 2 months, although I got MR yesterday.
I don't know if this is a reason they can reject my application because I didn't use the IMM 1017 E form the officer provided me.
Wishing everyone good news for today.
Kenny

Dear Kenneth,

Did you try calling CIC call center and ask this question? I think I have seen in this forum that someone did their medicals before being asked and then used the IMM 1017 E, attached it to the test and sent to CIC. Maybe Diplo can answer this. But try calling CIC for sure...

Kenny,

I did my medicals once requested from CIC. I received email requesting payment & Medicals on March 2-nd, did Medicals on march 4-th, paid fee online on March 7-th, Medicals were sender from doctors office directly to CIC, I received third line update on March 24-th.

I have no idea if you can use the Medicals which you have or they need to be done one more time. If I were you I would check before sending, maybe try to call CIC

Good Luck

Definitely call them to see if you need to do anything to ensure the eMedical will be acceptable and gets to them. If it was an e-medical it seems that you don't need the IMM 1017B as that is when the doctor uses paper system instead of eMedical.

Check out what it says in the section on the link below called, "Undergo your exam before you submit your application"

Hey, I just got through to the call center first time and in 15 minutes, couldn't believe it.
I explained the situation to the agent and she said that it's ok to use my e-medical from February as Medicals are valid from 1 year.
She said not to bother with the IMM 1017E form.
I will try and get everything off to Ottawa after lunch.
Cheers guys

Great news for you Kenny!!! Congrats! :D

Kenny, I am glad you called & get good news, saved some $ & Time ;D

Diplomatru,

I received PPR/RFV on April 21, 2015.

I am supposed to send my INDIAN passport within 30 days. I sent an email to CPC-Ottawa and Los Angeles office requesting for issue of PR visas to be issued from Los Angeles office only as Indians are not allowed to post passports from any country of residence.

If I do not hear from either of these two offices in the next 10 days, should I just post mine and my wife passports to CPC_Ottawa.

I am stressed out right now with these dilemma.

Please advise. Thanks

If I were you...

If I wouldn't receive response from Ottawa, I would just send passport not to loose my PR... since your have deadline specified from Ottawa Office.

Did you try to contact CIC and ask them question? What should you do?

Thanks for the response Grace but in this thread, there are people, who received response after 22 days--not from Ottawa but from Los Angeles office.

what if I send the passports to Ottawa and then the next day I receive email from Los Angeles office?

Also I sent emails to Ottawa and Los Angeles.

Should I call the cic --613-944-4000?

how long did it take to receive the notes from when you ordered them . Ordered mine on the 3rd of April . Just trying to figure when to expect mine .

Thanks
