This is for those living only in Canada for more than ONE year legally (on work, study permit)...if you want to avoid being asked POF, you can also land at a Canada immig office on appointment based only. You will call the normal cic number and book an appointment, the cic agent will take your details (COPR infos) and will forward it to the landing office, they (landing office) will call you and book/confirm the appointment. People don't usually wait for it because wait period can be between a week(if lucky but 98% not sure for you lol) to as long as 8weeks. During the phone conversation, they will mostly tell you the documents to bring, which are mostly your Canadian immig documents, passport, COPR (never heard of POF). This applies to fsw, cec and pnp.

I don't know much about Immig offices in other provinces, but here in Alberta is for sure. References to this comment are myself (confirm), my fsw friends (confirm) and word of mouth ;)

Hi ..I just read your post..
I tried calling the cic number but couldnt get through the pre recorded message.
I wonder how can I get through to book an appoionment with them ::)

What I have noticed is that folks who filed in Aug 2014 got PER's in close to 4 months whereas applications filed in Oct and after took 3 months only.

Anybody knows estimate number of days between Medical Received by CIC (Third line updated) to Passport Request, when PCC was not requested with Medicals?

Hello Grace :) No. I havent. I called CIC call centre and I was told that as of April 24, it has been sent for printing. My tracking has not been activated yet. I used to be obsessed with checking my ecas. Now I constantly check canada post's website. Hahaha! :)
