Thanks for the info. Hopefully all the pending apps get MR soon too. I thought my app was pretty much very straightforward with all supporting supporting docs(except USA PCC) but then who can tell tell for sure I guess.

Rest assured that all apps are processed in the order the were received from CIO.

Hi Diplo! Did you party yesterday to celebrate? :) i hope mine comes back soon :)

Will it be okay that my bank statement will :
-have funds in pesos (im from the Philippines) which is equal or more than 10-12k CAD?
-be from my old bank acct in the Philippines?
Im worried they might question me and say im here yet the funds are in the Philippines

Thanks in advance :)

Foreign currency is not a problem. But the certificate should be reasonably up to date. If it was issued in 2014, they won't take it into account.

Congratulations

+1 to you

I received my MR this morning :D. I am 28/11/2014 applicant.

Diplomatru, Bro, how is your hangover. :P
Did you had a nice party, did you get drunk. :-*
Cheers.

This is for those living only in Canada for more than ONE year legally (on work, study permit)...if you want to avoid being asked POF, you can also land at a Canada immig office on appointment based only. You will call the normal cic number and book an appointment, the cic agent will take your details (COPR infos) and will forward it to the landing office, they (landing office) will call you and book/confirm the appointment. People don't usually wait for it because wait period can be between a week(if lucky but 98% not sure for you lol) to as long as 8weeks. During the phone conversation, they will mostly tell you the documents to bring, which are mostly your Canadian immig documents, passport, COPR (never heard of POF). This applies to fsw, cec and pnp.

I don't know much about Immig offices in other provinces, but here in Alberta is for sure. References to this comment are myself (confirm), my fsw friends (confirm) and word of mouth ;)

You had landed in Edmonton office?

And bat I am genuinely very thankful to you for all the help and encouragement. Your advice really worked. :)

Oh thanks for the compliment, lol :) advice on here? I live in Edmonton but never landed at the office here, I drove to carway because the appointment I was given was 6weeks (may 5) (who wants to wait that long :D)...But I did call and they told me what to bring, my fsw friends too are all same. Its stress free and smile galore but its a long wait time to get appointment

yeap! exactly! Glad you remember. It was really nice of you with all the examples you were trying to encourage.

Thanks Sister, wow!!..am happy for you, now expect your PPR soon..i don't like it when people give up on something that has a solution. Everything problem must have a solution. "the One who made a pencil to write also made the eraser to clean it" ;)

Batman, i should compile your quotes. They're very positive. The last one you gave me is something about eating then wanting to add sand to it. Hehehe :)
