Hello! I paid online. Then I sent the receipt online by attaching it to an email and sent it to the email address noted in your post. In my email I just also included my full name, bday, UCI and application number. Hope that helps! :)

Helped a lot.... Thank you.
I was confusing because when I sent my receipt to this email I received an automatic answer saying that that email is just for refund porpouse ...

But I believe that everything will be ok....

How long took to you to receive their confirmation of payment?

After i sent my email, i just got an automated response saying they got it. But i also called cic a week after that to ask if they received my medical exam results and my RPRF payment

Thanks all friends for ur suggestions and wishes through Canada Visa forum...

Today I landed at Carway AB... Both US Canada officers received well and gave us worm welcome (surprisingly yes)

At US border I got the refusal of admission letter in 2-3 mins

Then, landing formality was done in ~20 min.

PPR: 7/April

DM, passports at cpc and visa issued: 9th April

Visa receive: 17/April

CIC gave me surprise by sending my passports fast, Canada post gave me surprise by delivering next day (though the received after hours) and finally US and Canadian border security officers gave another surprise by being extremely polite.

Best wishes all of you......

you give yourself unnecessary worry - this isn't good for your health lool. What you mentioned is the smallest of all the issues encountered when sending packages to CPC, I did the same and I am now a PR. it doesn't matter as long as your put your RFV letter which contains all the info they want or will use - Cheers :)

Hi guys!

I sent my passport last Thursday to CPC OTTAWA. there was an instruction to "quote your application number on your correspondence". I included a copy of the RFV email from CIC in my package together with my passport. Now i read the email again and it hit me : I DIDNT WRITE MY APPLICATION NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE NEXT TO MY NAME IN THE "FROM" SECTION. I THOUGHT IT WAS ENOUGH THAT A COPY OF THE RVF WAS INSIDE MY PACKAGE. :o

Now my worry is if it will reach the RFV location. Diplo and others who have sent their PP, please give me your opinion. Thank you in advance

Oh nice, congrats - Carway is simple journey n windy ;)

Hi Just chill,
I am saying that based on the posts I have read in the thread. My understanding is if you drive your own car it is assumed that you are trying to take it without paying taxes as you getting PR means you are immigrating. For me also taking my own car would have been easier. I do not want to rent either. If somebody can explain this more it would be great.

Thanks

Hi immigrantUSCAN just take your own car. they don't mind. I'm saying that from my personal experience ;)
frankly, your license plate expires every year so in order to renew it you either go to USA & prove them you stay there or you have to switch your plates to Canadian (at which point you have to prove that you imported it). so if you are not going to take import your car eventually to Canada then don't worry. if your long term plan is to import car then I recommend to let customs know during landing

;Droger that!!!

In fact, go to e-CAS and select Permanent resident card in the drop-down menu. Then entet your COPR# and other ID info.
