I got my MR request. Any suggestion(s) for Medical test .....

Thank you.......

I see your point... It's actually an internship. So it is not really part of the studies student has the choice whether to do it or not. It won't affect the graduation average and wut not. We will see what CIC says

Sorry to disappoint you but in my opinion the CO OP EXPERIENCE is a part of your studies therefore it cannot be used as a skilled worker experience.

Dear all,

Just a question, as far as I know the Canadian citizenship should be achieved by staying 3 out of 5 years in Canada, but I heard that there is a new law coming up that it needs 4 out of 6 years.

Is this law applicable to us?

Does it make a difference when we land in Canada?

Thanks,

From what i understand the law comes into effect june 1 2015. if you land after it will be applicable.

It doesn't matter when one lands. What matters is WHEN one applies for citizenship.

As a matter of fact, these 3 years turned into 5 because of the processing delays. Now the Conservatives streamlined the routines and the processing times is going down. 4 years RO + 12 months processing. Same 5 years.

Thanks Diplo...

So this means that this law will be applied to all of us here, and we will be able to apply for Canadian citizenship after ONLY 4 out of 6 years.

Is there any legal source for that?

I can't understand what you are asking.
