Not at all. You can live anywhere except QC.

Justchill, look at the PhD thread. CPC-O is requesting proof that grad students WILL move out of QC when they are granted PR. And there have been quite a lot of rejections on this basis.

When you apply for renewal of PR card or lodge a citizenship application same rule will apply. It is a very big deal and I encourage you to take it seriously.

I already have an MA in administrative law, but now I am pursuing a Master's degree in Political Science/International Relations.

did any one from Aug/Sep get decision made on ECAS?

My status updated to decision made on March 9th but there has been no ppr email request after that,I contacted the call center agent and she told me I should be getting the notification shortly .i also sent them an email and received a reply that the application is still within processing time and it is still processed.my passport is going to be valid for 6 months starting from mid June and I have been holding off since the renewal process for passport may take a while :(

Hi Guys..

a quick one here...

Being granted a PR visa of a country other than Canada during my Canada PR processing, is it something the VO must be updated about?!

Thanks a lot :)

I recommend to wait before you make your plans. most tickets are non-refundable & costs a ton to make any changes. why are you in a rush to book ticket? most likely you will get your visa by then but you never know of any unforeseen delays. that's just my opinion

Yeah. the idea is that airline tickets become more expensive or not available when you book it relatively close to your travel date
