The average for the last batch is 260 days. My app has been in processing for 235 days, so it's getting close I guess.

I have an issue and need some feedback.

I got married in Dec'14 and added my spouse in Feb'15. She has been in the US for less than 3 months but Ottawa has asked for her FBI PCC which will surely take another 4 months. ??? :'(

Should I ask Ottawa to reconsider?

I recently had a discussion with an immigration lawyer and his reply was always comply with what has been asked by visa officer.

my 2 cents

No you shouldn't. Instead ask them for extension if you cannot provide them in given time frame. They are aware about FBI PCC delays, so give them the genuine reason. Provide them with what they have asked for. No if or but. :)

It's not, but the important thing is that the meds have been received.

Is this medical received based off physician office's intimation to CIC or our(applicant) intimation ? 30 days timeline is for our intimation to reach cic office or date of exam/result upload on e medical?

It is based on RMO assessment of the results submitted by the clinic. The deadline presupposes giving meds, BUT if the results are uploaded and scrutinized after the due date (30 days), you are missing the bring-forward day and potentially delaying the processing.

I think so. I was in a impression that if someone is for less than 6 months police certificate is not needed.

civilengr I am dealing with a lawyer's office here in USA for my immigration and what they do is just fill out the form and make money. They do not have any insight of the immigration rule. After dealing with all those steps, I am pretty sure I know as much as I do. Its not that relevant to what you are saying but not all immigration lawyers know everything. Better to take an opinion from a good one. Venting my grudges over the lawyer who are taking all my hard earned money.

As other friends have suggested, you should comply. But you can send her state PCC which shouldn't take that long, and let the FBI process theirs in the meantime.

Hi,
I have one concern, I applied for Permanent Residence thru NS PNP and my visa office is London UK. Now my case is in last stage and they require our passports and photo of each family member to complete the processing But My children are in my back home with my parents which is outside canada and on the letter they were saying if you and all your accompanying member is inside canada you could post your documents to CPC OTTAWA, even I was asking them thru email regarding my children passport but they didn't reply anything on that topic. So shall I get their passports and photos and submit here or .......???? Could you please share your experience and ideas on this topic.
Your time line and my timeline is exactly match only few days up and down.
Many Thanks in advance !!!!
