Hi guys,

I am going to miss the PCC submission deadline (due to fingerprints rejection). Could someone let me know what is the best way to ask CIC for extension of the same ?

Phone ? Which number ? OR
Email ? Which one ? OR
Cover letter along with other PCC's that I have procured and have been sitting on my desk.

Regards

email CPC ottawa - CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca ASAP and ask for another extension. Also, attach a cover letter mentioning why it is delayed. I read somewhere in forum before of similar problem. Applicant sent 3 times his fingerprints but rejected all the time and later he contacted visa office and visa office asked to submit local state police certificate. If its a genuine problems with your fingers then there is a way around.

just talked to cic agent
she said they recieved all necessary document the needed and all the payments are updated tooo
she added some varification is going on my file
and she said a final decision on my file will be due on july 2015 and and i may hear from them before that too.

Possibly Security. No you can get DM/PPR anytime. July 2015 is your application due date and by that I mean they have to finalize your application by July 2015. :)

Thanks for the reply.

This is the same email that PCC request came from. I thought this is a DO NOT REPLY kind of address. Is it not ?

Mine have also been rejected the second time now. Good idea to ask them if they would accept the state PCC as an alternative.

I thought this thread was for CPC Ottawa only and the CIC agent will be someone sitting in CPC Ottawa office. Is it not the case ?

No its not. Actually, CPC located is in Ottawa(I know everybody is aware of it), and CIC call center is located in Quebec. So CIC CC people have access to information through system(GCMS) only. They actually don't know what actually going on with your physical application.

Ok.

This link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp does confirm the email address shared earlier. I think there is then no phone number to talk about such issues. Will be shooting them an email soon.

P.S. I think its better to send CSE rather then emailing them.
