Thanks Diplomatru. Did you get that from your GCMS notes?

Yes. I would wait a couple weeks for third line to appear. If it does - I see no reason for sending the sheet.

Hi, guys, do you know is there a time period requirement on your pick up letter saying that you must send you passport back in 30 days, 60 days? I am now working in the US with my MER received from CIC Ottawa in mid December of 2014 but never heard anything from them again. I need this information because I need to apply a student visa to study in Canada too and that process takes 1.5 month or so. Thank you so much!

Don't have an answer for the first question, but for the second, my 2nd line was updated the same day as my MR, PCC & RPRF request.

Does anyone know when Ottawa asks for additional documents, how long it will take for them to include that in the application?

Also when do you normally see the second line update? Thanks

You better wait until you become PR. Tuition fees are two times as large for overseas applicants.

Thanks Diplomatru. I heard after you get your MER you are treated as domestic student... Any ideas of is there a time-requirement in your pick-up letter to mail passport?

Thx!

I don't know what do you mean by MER.
PPR email gives applicant 30 days to mail-in the passport. There is no pick-up option. They return your stuff by Canada Post.

Hello everyone,

I hope some-one would be able to give their views about this. I had submitted my arranged employment documents along with Post graduate work permit and few days back I had received an email to submit 6 months transaction statements to show the settlement funds and having only 30 days for it. I have 2 questions here:

Does it mean settlement funds = whatever I have – credit card or it has nothing to do with the credit card expenses.

Moreover, since I came to know about this after receiving PER so I was not ready for it, if I make all the transactions now in one account from different sources within 15 days , will it going to effect the visa officer decision?

I don't think Credit cards will help. A credit card is basically debt. I think what they are really after is constant activity in your account where you are regularly getting paid and showing income. I don't know if one lump sum payment helps. in my opinion it might raise questions. Just collect banks statements for all your bank accounts. You don't have to have the right amount in one account
