Deal All,

I received request for Medical & RPRF only; I send PCC with initial application. I've done eMedical & Paid Fee for RPRF. I didn't revive any sheet from Doctor, they said they will send everything electronically. IS this correct?

What is next step?

Am I done with all their checks/verification?

I will appreciate your input,

grace

Can you tell us your timeline? Thanks

Hi Grace,

Yes, your doctor will send all your information via emedical, and your 3rd line should be updated in about 1-2 weeks (sometimes may take longer).

Unfortunately you are far from being done with all verifications. Next step is for CPC-O to perform a security check (different from police) an make a decision. Currently, it is taking between 10 - 14 weeks to get PPR, again at this point each case is different and many factors intervine.

Be patient and good luck

Two weeks seems a long time just to stamp a passport and add the counterfoil, just my 2 cents

Agree with Diplomatrue here !!

In my case the PP was delivered on Jan 16 2015, but the return tracker was activated only on Feb 9th + 3 days transit time to reach us.
( Visa's were printed on Feb 02nd 2015 ). Only CPC-O knows , how their operating practices are :D :D !!!

If you get your stamped passport back in exactly 2 weeks from CPC-O, you are lucky !!

lyn4pow, we are extremely close in terms of our timeline. They received my application on 21st October, I received my PER on the 21st of January, and am now waiting with abated breath, keeping my fingers crossed for the Medical Request! ;)

I am closely following your timeline in order to anticipate when I should receive stuff from Ottawa, even though I'm aware that it does not necessarily work out that way. If you get your med request and a few days later I've not got mine, then I know it's time to panic ... ha ha :o

BTW, my NOC is 1114. I'm not sure if that has any effect on one's timeline.

fjvs, I notice that you filed your app on 10/07 and got your MR on the 16th of December. That was really quick! Wow! I wonder what determines someone's timeline. I also notice that your NOC is 1111 (close to mine, which is 1114).

Hi All,

I received RPRF couple of hours ago but no MR yet. Is it normal?

Thank you for answering!

BTW, do you have any dependents or are you a single applicant? Thanks

Haha, I'm always panicking. Keep us posted. There's a chance that you will receive you MR before too ;)

Finally I received our passports with COPR and this ends our PR application journey. ** Drumrolls **

Thanks to all of you for being such a support. My timelines on left, but here are few specifics to those interested -

In 2013, I wanted to apply but missed collecting all docs. So that year I completed my IELTS, collected experience letter from previous employers.
In Feb 2014, I went to India got my marksheets attested from University for WES assessment.
Till Apr 2014 second week, I didn't sent my marksheets for WES assessment - lazy bum I'm. Thought will get it done when time comes.
Apr 15 2014, I woke up with news that FSW will be underway by May 1, submitted WES assessment that day only.
Meanwhile, completed my application - got birth cert etc from embassy. Got spouse birth cert translated...what not to complete the app.
Experience letter from current employer - I wrote a crisp cover letter explaining why I've only got a generic letter from HR as it might jeopardize my existing employment scene, and for my duties, salary, I attached my payslips, work contract, H1B sponsorship package, my certifications etc.
May 22 2014 - My app was received by Ottawa and rest was processing till today (timelines on left). Getting FBI PCC took 3.5 months - those waiting apply ASAP.

PPR - Feb 13th 2015
Passport received by CPC-O - Feb 19th
Visa Issued - Feb 26th
Tracker Activated - Mar 6th
Passport received back - Mar 9th

So happy to complete this process for us. Hope you all complete your journey soon and get the most awaited email of PPR. We'll be landing sometime in September. Thanks again. :) :) :-* :-*

Will be updating SS in a while.
