Sorry for that
Do you mean that your experience letter was not dated with the time you started working with that employer and the time your contract ended? Or you mean the date at which the letter was written?

The officer rejected her App due to undated job letter(the date at which the letter was written), do you have any advice ?

Just checked.
1.We received your application for permanent residence on October 3, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on March 3, 2015.

I can't see any grounds for fighting this decision. If the reference letter is not dated as per Document checklist and IMM 7000 requirements, the CO could not make a selection decision. What's wrong with that?

But this is not a requirement! !! As long as the experience letter stated the start and end of contract dates , there is no need for writing the actual date at which this experience letter was written! !!!
These are the work experience requirements :-

Work Experience

For the principal applicant:
• Letters of reference from all your employers for the past 10 years.

Letters must be:
• written on company letterhead,
• signed by the responsible officer/supervisor,
• show the company's full address, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses,
• stamped with the company's official seal (if applicable).
Letters must include all of the following information:
• the specific period of your employment with the company,
• the positions you have held during the period of employment and the time you spent in each position,
• your main responsibilities and duties in each position,
• your total annual salary plus benefits in each position, and
• the number of hours worked per week in each position.

• Additional supporting documents may include:
• copies of work contracts, and
• copies of pay stubs.

I think it'll be better If she shows us what the visa officer wrote to her exactly so we can give her our suggestions.

IMM7000 repeatedly states that:
If you do not sign and date, the application will be returned to you.

Of course wording of the manual sometimes contradicts common sense. But not in this case. Even the photographs should be dated why the all-important employer reference letter shouldn't?

Re: FSW 2014 - CPC OTTAWA - Visa Office - - RMCP Fingerprint check done

Hi everyone,
I am being sponsored by my fiance who is from Winnipeg Canada and we are being dealt with through the Ottawa office.
We applied in May last year and having gone through the process of sending proof of return to Canada and everywhere I have ever travelled to with dates, we were asked for RCMP finger print check in December.
This was completed within the 60 day time limit and received at the Ottawa office on 30 Jan.

We have heard nothing since apart from a confirmation email from Ottawa to say that the paperwork was received and added to my file.

Does anyone know what to exoect next after the fingerprint check? Are we getting towards the end of the process or should we expect more questions and forms to fill in?

If anyone has had teh same issues with Ottawa and the fingerprint checks we would love to hear from you and see what happened next.

cheers

Rick Davey

Hello everyone,
My tracker got activated! Hurray!! My passports were delivered at CPC-O on 20-Feb at 11:30am!!

And the CanadaPost status update shows:
"VILLE ST-LAURENT: International item has left Canada", and
"Expected Delivery : 2015/02/20" :o

Destination city is showing up correctly, so I hope expected delivery will get updated soon!

I am wondering why the item is processed at VILLE ST-LAURENT which is Montreal!!

Cheers & good luck to others also who are waiting for their passport delivery!

"If you do not sign and date, the application will be returned to you" I think it is regarding the main application not the supporting documents, however I agree with you that Ref letter should be dated for more credibility, but the point that she has received PER then rejection form VO, If the rejection came first it would be a chance for resend the App again, Thanks

Good Morning,

I see some of them have contacted the case office for queries. Can we call them directly to check the status and raise query. if yes, can you please share the case office contact number.

Thanks,
Snowboy

Hello People,

I am moving to another apartment this afternoon. Is it necessary to notify CPC-Ottawa about my new address?? Has anyone updated their mailing address? What did you do? Thanks!!
