yes they have access to everything. well I called and told them I found DM and do not understand (even though I do lol) - then she held me on the phone, verified and explained I do not need to worry as they will reach me when they are ready with COPR...I don't like to contact them though....

PS. SP is one thing but what about the actual visa?

It says NO as well. But my friends that applied through SPVO were asked to send their passports... So I bet it will be the case.

We can't tell for sure unless we had access to their GCMS notes...
I think bat001 will have acquarate information if he is relieved from submitting the PP.

My friend just checked her GCMS notes. She got PPR early Feb, and her GCMS was asked by the same time as mine (early Jan). It says NO on her notes. I think we can't speculate... Hard to say.

I still don't see the 3rd line updated. It is already more than 2 weeks since the doctor uploaded my medical results. Isn't it weird?

I am done with Medicals on Nov 15th, not received any update after that.. just trying to find out?

I wasn't asked for additional documents. It was a request for additional information.
You have to order GCMS notes to find out where your file is stuck.

This is an interesting post.
I would like to ask a question but before that I will give a few details about my spouse:

Canadian Visas currently held: Tourist visa, Work Permit visa
Canadian Visa expected: Permanent Residence as Dependent (Passport sent to CPC-O for stamping)

Question: Will the visa office cancel currently held Canadian visas?
Answer from CIC call centre: No. Visa office won't cancel existing visas.

But from the below post, it seems that existing visas will be cancelled! Any comments??

This is an important scenario for us as my spouse wants to go to Canada without me (i.e. before primary PR's landing) and start working on existing work permit. We are currently in USA and without primary applicant's entry, our PR won't be active.

Yes, it must be the case. Visa is only a travel document, either it's an S-1, V-1 or I-1 it always remains a counterfoil which allows single or multiple entry. The status is defined by COPR only. On that note, you cannot have two valid visas in PP at the same time. If they technically ask me to submit my PP for stamping they will have to cancel my multiple entry visa without prejudice and replace it with single entry visa which kind of sucks, because I would not be able to travel until the PR card arrives.

My GCMS notes say.
Counterfoil required: No

Does it mean that I will receive COPR without PPR although I am not from a visa exempt country? Friends with GCMS notes at hand are kindly asked to share the contents of this line in their file (Page 3, Client Details). I have a reentry visa valid until Oct. 2015 and valid status in Canada.
