Hi Rahul,

Did you get the 3rd line ECAS updated? Also PPR request varies from case to case and on the Case Processing Officer. Nothing to worry. I believe you will get PPR request by this Friday or early next week. Keep doing what you are doing - checking mails/spams.

In btw, how long your FBI clearance took?

My FBI took long time, FBI filed on 3rd Oct and certificate received on 27th Jan 2015. My E case third line showing MR received but that was very old, updated back in Nov 2014. After that no update on ECAS but just only minor correction in my name which they did one day back... My name in ECAS was written in correctly from the day one, I pointed them and the correction I can see now just one day before....

Can any please point me to few "landing experience" discussion threads.

I can't find it.

Mailed FBI and got this reply ???:

Thank you for your inquiry,

The current processing time for an FBI Background Check is taking 14-16 weeks to complete from the date the request was received. It can take 10+ weeks for a request to clear our security process before we are able to see the request in our system. At this time, it is too early to see the request(s). If you submitted your request by courier (Fed Ex, UPS, or USPS), please view their website to verify delivery.

Unfortunately, no requests can be expedited at this time due to the amount of work. Please be sure to supply your full name and address when requesting a status update.

Thank you!

Hello Friends,

This is my second time question, a bit worried and perhaps after seeing several people experience, someone can predict very well.....

My application reached on 22nd May 2014
Medical/RPRF/UK-India PCC submitted - 23rd Nov 2014
US FBI PCC submitted - 4th Feb 2015..

Still no PPR request.. I saw some applicants are later than mine (22nd May) even with RPRF/Medical late in Dec 2014, still they all got PPR email...

Hey DUDE,

I also have the same time line and I didn't receive my PPR can you pls update if you do receive your PPR.
Guys any feel why it is getting so late....?

Regards,

Do not use other people's case to judge yours as they are all different - I see two things here, you have lived in 3 places and hence will required a thorough security check which maybe be one of the things for the delay.....secondly, your final PCC just arrived 2weeks ago, so your security check just started and another review date would have been scheduled for your application...I will advice you to wait patiently - no choice bro...

cheers!!! :)

Hello, i just want to get your opinion based on what you've notice in following the FSW 2014. When the file reaches ottawa and sits on the registry, does it do the First in First out method in opening the file for eligibility review?

Ordered GCMS and so far out of 9 assessments they have only completed and confirmed 3 as being passed and nothing noted to suggest the other assessments have started.

Eligibility, Criminality and medical passed

Security, HIRV, Org Crime, Misrepresentation, Other reqs and Final nothing noted

Need Urgent Advice ?

Can we do Landing/Flag Poling at US-Canada Land border if current status is Restoration Period (i.e 90 days given to restore status after Expiry of TFW Status) ...?? ::)

AFAIU, if the assessments other than Eligibility, Criminality, medical appear blank, they remain in process. Certain information qualifies for exemption pursuant to section(s) 15(1) International affairs and defence of the Access to Information Act.

Today begins with a great news for us.

Expresspost tracker activated last night, and expected delivery is this Saturday. Our passports reached Ottawa on 02/10 for anyone interested.

The opening of file for review is generally first in first out. BUT, the COMPLETION time of all the required checks and reviews varies for each applicant based on their history. Hence, MR and PPR aren't always first-come-first serve since those depend on how long it takes for all the checks to be complete for each applicant.
