What is the latest MR for CPC Ottawa?

PER on 9th Dec
No 2nd line update or MR yet..
The spreadsheet says PER to MR avg is 40 days..

Are MRs sent by NOC Code or in the order in which the application was received?
My NOC is 2171
Getting worried..

According to SS, there's a Jan 9 PER received MR on Feb 6. Also, some Jan 14 PER received document request last Feb 13. Don't worry too much. It will come soon, maybe they are just in process somewhere in assessing/verifying your selection points.

I guess you will receive email shortly. I got PPR before and still the ECAS status was in process. Fedexed the passport. The passport has not been delivered yet and this morning ECAS changed to decision made. So you interpret.

RPRF, PCC, MR request - Jan 23, 2015
Medical done, RPRF paid - Jan 30, 2015 - Sent pdf receipt (without filling in the blanks) same day to CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca, stil not updated

3rd line updated - Medical results have been received
PCC sent to CPC-Ottawa - Feb 16, 2015....Courier still in transit due to the unfortunate winter storm at memphis, TN today (my bad luck)...

Question:- 1) Why dont they update my status and say RPRF received? Will they update only after they receive my PCC?
2) Assuming my PCC is received on Feb 18, 2015, how long for CPC-Ottawa for my PPR?

Hi Shree, RPRF received is not updated in ECAS status. After medical received its only decision made. Based on my experience you can expect PPR between mid March to Late March.

I have fedexed my pp and it was received today. Looking at other posts seems like it will be about 10-14 days before CPC-Ottawa issues Visa and sends the passport back after receiving. Please keep on checking the forum.

Thanks. Just curious. How did you arrive at the mid March to late March figure for me? Seeing your information, seems like they took about 2 months for your PPR after they received your medical....My only rush is that I have a possible job offer and the offer will be valid only if I join by mid of March! And as such my job in the US is at jeopardy! :'(

Based on recent posts, seems like CPC-OTTAWA is working in full swing. My Medical was received on Dec 22 though the medical was done on Dec 12. and I got PP request on Feb 13. Those who applied later than me also have got PPR. You paid RPRF fee and medical was uploaded around Jan 30. Based on other posts, as soon as they receive your PCC your file is complete. Because of these observations I gave you my guesses. But don't rely completely on guesses.

Basically they had asked me for a new FBI report but i had already sent it, So they said they will re-examine my file. and contact me shortly but they never contacted me.

Got PPR from Los Angeles

I'm grateful to you all for your help in getting me the PR visa. I wanted to point out how long it takes to get the visa stamped in the US i.e. add a month after getting PPR. (for Indians who cannot send their passport to Canada.)

• PPR from CPC-O: Jan 8 (I Immediately responded to print visa in the US)
• PPR from Los Angeles: Jan 30
• Passport Received by LA: Feb 3
• Passport Sent/Mailed from LA: Feb 12
• Passport Received: Feb 14

How long is the visa valid?

Until I got my visa, I had always wondered how long would it be valid for. It seems to be that a few days longer than 1 year from the date you completed the Medical. (Ensure that your passport is valid for at least a year and a half after the date of your Medical.)

• Medical Completed: Nov 5, 2014
• eMedical Entry/File Completed: Nov 13, 2014
• Medical Updated in ECAS: Nov 24, 2014
• Visa Valid up to: Nov 20, 2015
