Folks,

Just received PPR email from Ottawa.

I have an Indian passport and reside in USA.

Is it OK to send the passport across the borders?

Should I email them requesting to print the VISA in USA?

Please respond.

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY

GOD BLESS EVERYBODY

Wow ...congrats nd Good luck

Guys Guys Guys....

Finally the PPR

After such long wait, I have got my PPR just now. My timeline is on the left. They received my FBI PCC on Jan 5th. Everything else was completed back in November.

I was waiting from Jan 5th, getting anxious every now and then. Thanks to god and all forum members here. It wasn't possible without your support, trust me when I say this. It is such a relief now. Will be sending passports over the weekend.

Thanks again. I hope all of you waiting receive your passport request soon.

I am like this now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D...what a long weekend...!

Do not worry about status in ECAS. It will get updated to "Decision Made" in few days.

Dear Friends,

About 2 weeks a ago, I posed a questions about my current passport which has PR visa is going to expire later this year and I am going to get a new one in few weeks( the embassy will cancel the old one once they handed the new one). My question was whether I should land using the old passport( no cancellation of it) or renew it and present both ( old and new).

I got an official response from CPC:

You can land anytime before the expiry date on your visa and CPR.

You must present both passport the old and the new.

so everyone who is the same situation, just go and renew your current passport :)

All the best. that is a passport request.

you need to send:
passports(including all dependents listed in the application)
return label(canada post)
copy of PPR mail

all the best

How can I buy the canada post prepaid label while staying in USA?

It wants a credit card with Canada address.

Congratulations!

It is PPR indeed. The email I received had the same subject. The status will likely change to DECISION MADE once they have stamped the Visa on our passports.

Congrats! Any reason in particular why it took so long for you to receive yours?
