I didn't send my old passport with the new one. I hope, it is not a problem for visa stamp. If they need old passport as well, they would mention that in the letter or email. Anyways, I ll update as soon as I receive my passport.

My submission deadline also ends today Jan 21, 2015 ( 2 months from MR/PCC/RFPR request )
I think they will email you back only on the day your deadline expires

if you chaps do not mind , can you tell us, if you guys have a limited travelling history across borders.
That will help in validating the theory that people with more travel history, may be taken bit couple of more days in processing passport stamping

I certainly don't have an extensive travel history. Have been in Canada since 2010. Previous visits are not reflected in my current passport, same goes for my spouse.

thanks orange_girl & kumar for sharing your travel history. It certainly seems both of you have limited travel and that too confine to either canada or your home country.That could explain why they take less time in visa printing for you guys.

So I paid the RPRF online using my brother's credit card. The pdf receipt I got says that it's paid and it has a bar code, but the box thing below only has the name of my brother. Client bday, ID, Address, Postal Code, and Telephone are blank. Am I supposed to fill this up before sending it to them?

yes fill it , also put ur name at address section. I did it same for my sibling. . It is my name on RPRF. no issues. passport are at ottawa for stamping

RPRF printout hard copy was given to them by mail with other demanded documents. Also softcopy was emailed

I mean, after I emailed them with the receipt, I got an automated email reply. Will there be another update like by email or status update on ecas confirming the receipt is good?
