I did my medical in early Nov. The doctor put in eMedical a week later. From the date it was put into eMedical, it took exactly 2 weeks for the 3rd line to update.

Hopefully, it would be this week. God bless to all who are waiting, too.

I had asked for extension deadline as i am waiting for my FBI PCC - and CIC gave me a 30 day extension. I emailed them my RPRF when i asked for extension. Medicals already submitted. Only FBI PCC pending.
Here is the email i got

Dear XXX:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada.
We have received your RPRF payment. Thank you for complying with our request.
We are aware of processing delays at the FBI.
We are examining request extensions of a case by case basis.
We will grant a 30 day extension to submit the documents.

Please submit the requested documents to the following address:
Attention: Program Assistant – CPC-O
Case Processing Center - Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West
7th Floor, Section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1

I didn't send my old passport with the new one. I hope, it is not a problem for visa stamp. If they need old passport as well, they would mention that in the letter or email. Anyways, I ll update as soon as I receive my passport.

if you chaps do not mind , can you tell us, if you guys have a limited travelling history across borders.
That will help in validating the theory that people with more travel history, may be taken bit couple of more days in processing passport stamping

I traveled like 3 times to Canada in 10years and 3 times to India. Other than that, I didn't travel anywhere else.

Has anyone received a reply from CPC for arranging of printing visa in another office. I sent them 3 emails since Jan., 09 but I have not received any reply rather than the automatic email

Hello friends! I am a bit worried now. I received medical and rprf requests last Dec22 and did medical on Jan05. The clinic sent medical info Jan 07. I sent the required docs thru mail on Jan 08. The tracking says it was received Jan15 but until now the 3rd line isn't updated yet. Now i am worried. Anybody here waiting for 3rd line update? Thanks...

My 3rd line got updated yesterday (Jan 20). Medicals done on Dec 23rd, results sent on Jan 07.


I think there is a matter of how many people are in the application though... In my case it's just me and my husband. A friend of mine had her results sent same day as ours by the same doctor. In her case it's her, her husband and a child. No updates for her yet. Go figure :

I am waiting their reply too. The issue with sending the passports that you will have to have it hand caried through the Egyptian boarders (to Saudi or UAE, or even USA) then by currier to Ottawa and the same way backward .... My problem is I can't leave my passport for long time away as I need to travel all the time for my work. I hope CPC-Ottawa replies soon.

My application consists of 1 person, so it's unlikely. Luck-based as always the case with CIC.
