Many thanks for sharing this valuable info. I have a question, around what time you got this email from Ottawa? Please post the eastern time (Ottawa time). Thanks!

Not yet. I will update my signature once it's updated.

Thanks ;D

Yes, it did.

Here it is in quote below:

PLEASE NOTE THAT EMAILS MIGHT BE INDIVIDUALIZED, SO PLEASE DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS MESSAGE ENTIRELY

Mine was updated in a week and a half. Please ask your doctor's office when the actual results were uploaded.
I did not have to go through the extension but there are several who have asked and pardoned by CPC-O. However, it generally takes 12-14 weeks so please mention that to CPC-O. Also, when sending the application to FBI, some people indicated that they printed and included letter from CPC-O asking for FBI PCC and their request were expedited. I cannot vouch for their statement but it's something that I definitely look into.

Some good news for late July/early August applicants!

Today I received my RPRF and PCC request. Isn't this weird I haven't received the Medical Request but the RPRF ? I thought RPRF will be sent out by CPC after the PCC and MR

ECAS still showing the first line only!

below is my time line:

Application Filed: August 5, 2014
PER: November 26, 2014
PCC & RPRF: January 7th, 2015
MR: Pending

Good luck everyone :)

Does anyone know what happens to Indians living in the US at the PPR stage from CPC-O? I understand that we cannot send our passports out of the country. Is it easy to convince them to stamp the passport at a local consulate in the US?

Medicals always come after RPRF and PCC requests. I am sure you will get your medical request tomorrow morning. They also come from a different email (Do Not Reply email)

Congrats and good luck!

hi, I am a July 4th applicant and received PER on Oct 29...I haven't got any progress since then...no second line update. Is that uncommon? I'm really worried. Shall I contact CPC OTTAWA? Thank you.

I have exactly the same question. Applied from the US and if PPR comes, we will have to send it by mail/ courier to CPC-O crossing International borders which is illegal for an Indian Passport. But reading qorax post (page 2 on link 2 below), he's saying it is fine otherwise most courier companies won't be sending it. One of the post says CBSA held the passport at Canadian border for 45 days before releasing it. They released it without any action - just held it. This is really tense..with no legal solution.

Anyone who has experienced similar issue?

Thank you very much. I think this is what I need. In xXCiscoGuyXx's post on the previous page i.e. pg. 42 where he provided the contents of the PPR Request, they say that there is accommodation to print the visas at another office. I'm sorry I did not read this before. This solves my problem ;D

"If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America, contact us at CPC-CTD-Ottawa @ cic.gc.ca so that we can make arrangements to print visas at another office."

Congrats CiscoGuy for the cheerful news !!

Guys, I think we have not come across any issues in this forum for passports to be sent from US for stamping to CPC-O and receiving back.
Let's hope no once face any issues in this process (especially the Indian passport holders) also there might be some agreement in place b/w North American countries
for these kind of documents crossing borders which we are not aware of - just my pov , not sure on this.

Yes you can, as long as the eCAS has been activated you can certainly check it with your UCI. To do this, you will have to select Universal Client Number rather than Application number.

I did it and it worked even before getting my PER.

So that means another 30 days delay after we get the PPR. It does solve the problem. We send them an email about inability to send passports and if we can get visa stamped within the US.

Good :D
