Hello, guys

Just got the third line updates saying Medical results have been received while no date?

Does that mean my medical passed , right?

Then what's next then. How long will it be to passport request?

Thanks,

When was your medicals submitted? It means you passed medicals and it could be another 2 months before passport request, but it could be sooner if Ottawa doesn't go in another hiatus.

Another Ottawa member "Bondo2" has got his PPR yesterday, seems Ottawa will be concentrating on PPRs Insha'ALLAH for the time being

Congratulations!!!! I'm curious when was your file complete i.e. when was your last document received. Your profile seems to indicate Oct 31, but if I recall you also had your FBI PCC pending.

Finally, I am curious if someone could answer this:

I'm an Indian national living in the US, and it seems that I cannot send my passport out of the country. Has anyone had/or knows someone who had the experience of what CPC-O does to such applicants. I think they ask you to send the passports to some Canadian embassy/consulate in the US. Is this correct? How long did this process take?

Thank you,
o_o

No tensions regarding sending your passport to Canada or Canadian Embassy. We will be adviced clearly on the PPR. Im in the same boat as of yours. Lets hope for the best.

Hi Friends,

I have been following the other thread -FSW2014. I am May 9th applicant and still waiting for PPR. Whereas cisco is May 23 applicant and he received PPR?? does CPC send requests in random pattern?

BTW-I have got medicals done in NJ and I paid $350 per adult and $160 for kid.

Yes, CPC Ottawa does not organize each file per received date. They have a system completely different to the CIO system.

Seattle is also close to $450 per adult. I guess it just depends on the Clinic. Too bad Insurance doesn't cover even part of it.

That's ridiculously expensive.

What I payed Dr. Garrett was:
150CAD doctor fee + 8CAD blood/urine test + chest xray 40CAD

I went with the same doctor (Dr. Garrett) and paid the same amount. Also, he uploaded the results very very fast!

It seems as though the process is cheaper in Canada. In the US I think it ranges between $350-$450 per adult.
