I emailed CIC asking whats going on with my PR and CORP...
They have my passport since Nov 6th. My status moved back to IN PROCESS from DECISION MADE.

They replied to me ........

Its in the queue for visa printing. Due to the unusually high number of printing requests being received by our printing officer in the last few weeks, we are currently experiencing abnormally long delays for applications finalization.

So be patience ... Merry Xmas and happy holidays ...

Yes man I know wanted to know your views, the reason behind delay in sending PPR is not yet know so was trying the find an answer...

Thanks for this update. This explains why FSW applicants aren't getting PPR recently.

What boggles my mind is, CIC knew about the volume of applications they were expecting as they set caps accordingly.
This clearly reflects bad management.

is their first correspondance the MR email ?
How many days between per and first line and MR noticed
do cpc ottawa send pcc letters or i have to obtain it from somewhere else

I don't believe this is correct for couple of reasons.

1. If CPC-O has large number of visas to print in the queue and that is why not sending us PPRs, then it would make sense to stop sending PPR for all classes. But frim the CE class, they are getting PPR normally till recently and someone even got his passport back today. So the delay is about FSW class only I believe

2. If it is about visa printing only then this shouldn't stop CPC-O from making a decision on our applications and postpone PPR only, which is not the case since our ecas still shows in process
