I feel CPC-O is unlikely to issue any PPR-s this year. And most of them will go on vacation soon. Moreover it is very likely CPC-O is waiting to see the response to the new Express Entry system. Why restrict selection of immigrants to the current FSWP list, if they can find better applicants from EE? Thinking in their shoes, they will want the best for themselves. They are not running a charity.

Dear friend
I don't think that because of the following reasons:
1- Other Visa offices are sending PPR's so if there is any issue will be common issue for all offices
2- CIC mentioned that frankly:
All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines.
3-Even CIC terminated this program such as Federal Immigrant Investor and Entrepreneurs, all applications were made before selection made, will not be affected

Not True. Even if they believe that EE will get them better candidate, It doesnt mean that candidates chosen through FSW are not eligible. In fact they are the most qualified. They have set of guidelines that they have to follow that means FSW will be processed as per its system and so as EE. both are separate. Remember, they are responsible to system if they play with it.

My two cents on what jobinj1 has what speak out. It is in general true that immigration
From jan1 2015 is changing to “Survival of the Fittest” instead of “Coming in line with minimum criteria”.
Relatively Weak candidates may or may not get invitations. Even after invitations, CIC can reject their
Applications at any stage. Unfortunately the work experience gained outside Canada is now good for
nothing as per EE points criteria
Now on FSW 2014 cases. These will be low priority cases from next year. We see this happening
in 2008 also. People waited for many years while new skill criteria people were getting visas.
But still we have 3 months’ time before EE candidates start getting MR requests. So hopefully
before that we all will get PPRs.. Cheers Everyone

Please DO NOT post your speculations here and make people panic.
It was clearly mentioned that the current applications are processed according to the regulations set at the time of FSW 2014 start.

Dont spread the rumours here please.

THANKS.

Please don't spread rumors bcoz it is clearly said on the web site, I don know why are we even talking about this bcoz all the other VO are sending PPR's.

I hope CIC sticks to its promise. My intention was not to spread rumor and make everyone panic. I don't gain anything from it. Moreover I am in the same boat as everyone. I thought it might serve as a warning for people who might be leaning on this, with no other back up plan. I even read some people quit their current job after they received PER.
My point is, don't be certain about getting into Canada, until you actually cross its borders. I know I made that mistake and made some stupid moves myself.

True jobinj1.

I agree with you to some extent that
1) EE may slow down the present FSWP 2014 process
2) people should have backup plan to apply unedr EE. (Dont relay too much on present processing)
3) never ever quit your job, as soon as you get your PER (Dude some times, it may take years to get PR VISA, this bitter but true)

on the other hand
1) EE also has the same limitations (CAP limits) as FSWP has. As a reason, EE can accept applications only fall under CAP limits per category.
2) CIC clearly specified that - all applications erceived by dec 31st will be considered towards FSWP 14 and processed as per the guidelines.
3) as CIC lost one lawsuit for FSWP 2008 candidates, hopefully it will not repeat that mistake of holding applications for years again.
4) CIC also planing to clear all FSWP 2014 backlog by end of 2015.(On their web site)

However,

Hope for best, and always have backup plan.

Hi All, while sharing your views or fears with us here is great. But please make a clear thinking before what you get to type here.

EE Process itself, is a streamlined process for FSWP, where the selection of candidates is through scores and made transparent with Applicant/Applicants on a public forum. EE inviting the candidate is nothing but like getting the PER... Which is you are reviewed and you can apply, if you see the documents to apply for Step 2 EE is nothing but FSWP document list. So it involves again the process of Document Verification, MR, PPR and COPR.
So the thought of preparing of EE is stupidity (my point of view) where are getting prepared for the second round of same old process, just because the first round line is little stagnant at the moment.

Please give a thought around and you are the best judge for your life.
Happy waiting and All the very best.

Thanks,
Karthick S

Wating PPR sucks...
Come on CPC-O ..Wakeup.

Hey There,

Im in the same boat ... Why not send inquiry email to CIC inquiry dept for the slowness of PPR ? I already sent one and thinking of sending again ? Atleast we will get to hear why there is this unusual wait for PPR and what will be direction.

Also its concerning because of the reason that, our Visa issued is likely to have start date as that of medical.

Thanks.

CPC-O is on Vacation Mode.

If CPC-O is in vacation mode, why does the applicants are still getting PERs, MRs ??
Is the PPR/COPR printing machine broken and waiting for some strange part which is no longer in production ?? ( Sorry for the poor joke, just trying to vent out the frustrations).

thanks,
Karthick S
