Comply, Pdhillon and others who recently got MR request...

Does CPC updates second line in ECAS and then sends MR or once you receive MR then they update second line?

Please let me know. I am waiting for MR desperately.

In my case it was bit different my 2nd line was updated on December 04 stating " We started processing ur applicaition on December 03, 2014" and I received MR on December 08, 2014 . :)

But in most cases they both come together.

Hello Everyone,

I was directed to this forum by someone from the main "FSW 2014 applicants, lets network here.."

I am a May 30th applicant who has a deadline in two weeks to submit PCC, Medicals and RPRF. My medicals have reached there. I also have PCC from India. I am still awaiting FBI PCC since September 30th, 2014. I called them today and they said they will take another 2-3 weeks. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any advise?

Thanks.

My friend,
You are not alone. CIC is aware of it. Just sent them and email and they will grant you an extension for 30 days.
Check this forum here to track FBI PCC from USA.

Thank you guys for letting me know. I saw today 22nd July applicant got MR so hopefully soon.

I am getting this scary thought that CPC-O has probably put post-MR applications on the shelf, with the idea of putting all of us into the Express Entry queue in Jan; which means no automatic PPR-s, no preference or priority based on application date. We are at the mercy of Canadian employers now.

Don't worry, both FSW and EE have completely different processes and they can't mix applications from both

It seems that only FSW applicants are currently waiting for passport requests. PNP and CEC applicants are receiving passport requests just fine. May be Ottawa processes passport requests in batches for different programs. I hope FSW's turn will come soon.

Hello,

I have sent my med files, along with my FBI PCC to CPC-O. I received my FBI PCC just on time, and was submitted to CPC-O on the last day of my extension time. What would be the next step and how long does it take before i get further updates?

Application sent on June 8 2014
PER received on August
CPC-O asked me to submit my MED,PCC and RPRF receipts by Nov 16 2014. Granted me an extension for 30 days, i.e, Dec 16 2014. CPC-O received all my documents on Dec 15 2014.

You are reinforcing my thoughts on how this is going to play out now. We are going to compete with Express Entry candidates and/or with each other. Let me put down what I think is happening:

Applicants to the FSWP program will no longer be processed in the order the application was submitted. We are being ranked based on our eligibility. CEC, PNP and applicants with job offers receive the highest ranks, just like in EE. After a certain number of applicants have completed the MR stage, CIC will draw a few of the highest ranking candidates and issue them PPR-s. Then the rankings start again as more applicants pass MR. After a certain period of time, the next set will receive PPR-s. I already see evidence of this happening. Some people, who submitted applications later, have randomly got PPR, from the same visa office. PPR will now come out in bursts, not in a flow or sequence.

If you are with me so far, let me give everyone the bad news. This means some of us will never get a PPR, if we remain at the bottom of the ranking list. There is no point in looking at the SS trying to analyze when your turn is going to come. It's over for many of us.

I made this conclusion based on two things:

1) the current state of affairs in FSWP
2) similarity of the current pattern with EE

What you are saying is only your own speculations that in fact has no evidence and are totally not logical with respect to how CIC works. No need to make it sound like a fact to scare people here. -1 for the attitude.

I wish I am wrong, but doesn't look like it, based on current patterns.
However in the end, we all might get PPR if the demand for skilled workers is too high.
