You are scaring us. :o >:( :-[
Lets put this into Main Forum. We will get appropriate and justifiable response.

Reddy Bhai

I am as scared as you. I have put the same words on main 2014 FSW thread also. It is my sincere hope, we all should get PPR around Christmas. But I don’t want to put my head in sand and says all is well. Till one do not get PR, I should be on toes and explore options. I could be wrong also. May be CIC will keep working at same speed for FSW before EE applicants.

True,

I agree with you. Be optimistic at the same time realistic...:)

If that is the case, I am ok to ready my documents and apply to "Express Entry".

lets see what FSWP 2014 forumists say.

Hi Cisco and friends,

I am in a tricky situation:

I am CPC-O applicant.
Applied on May 23rd 2014,
Application received by CIC on May 29th 2014,
PER received on Sept 23rd 2014.
That time, my ECAS Stats was:
In Process --->
1) We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.

But as soon as I get My PER, I have sent the PCC, up front Medicals and RPRF to CPC-O even without waiting for their response.
On October 23rd 2014 my ECAS Status changed to
In Process --->
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.
2. Medical results have been received.

And on October 31st 2014 again ECAS status changed to:
In Process--->
1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 29, 2014.
2. We started processing your application on October 31, 2014.
3. Medical results have been received.

But officially, I did not get any mail from CPC-O requesting for PCC, MR, RPRF fee.
Now I am thinking, has i reached the medicals stage or still in PPR stage or not yet?

Is there any safe way we can assume our application status based on ECAS notes?
Please advise ..

Actually I came to know about up front medical from this above post by Psreddy so I am curious to know if its really helpful . . . moreover Medical is valid for one year so I don't think anything bad doing it. . . Coz everything we send CPC-O with Our UCI & File Number gets updated to our application.

Can u please put some light on Up Front Medical ..??

Friends,

1) Upfront medicals can be done at Any authorized medical practitioner by CIC. (Preferably doctors who have e-med facility)
2) You have to have UCI and Application number to go through up front medicals.
3) Doctors can generate UMI for each one you (all persons in the application)
4) Once medical are done, wait for a week ask Doctors to reaffirm that medicals are ok and they have uploaded to E medicals (Through which VO have access to to your medical records).
5) Send a scanned copy of your medical reports to Local VO office and send another copy by FAX (Attach all your details in correspondence for easy identification of your file).
6) One they receive your documents; they will review and update your ECAS.
7) You are done.. :)

Notes:
1) In this case, you are sending the medical reports to Local Processing office even before they request medicals.
2) Medicals are valid for 1 year. So don’t worry.
3) Go for upfront medical only if you are confident. (It is expensive to go second time for medicals US $450 per person)

EE is starting ,Seems EE preparation and its details are in full swing in ottawa.
Guys with PPR still elusive, Does it make sense to also apply under EE. The first lot to choose is schedule for last week of Jan. Most of us have ECA reports, IELTS score etc also medical done. My fear is this PPR will go to back burner starting from Jan. I see this happening earlier also in 2008. Whenever new way starts the old applications are just get dumped for months and years.

I don't think this is something to worry about until at least March/April because the initial evaluation and invitation would happen at the CIO level, that is in Nova Scotia and not in visa offices like Ottawa. So it might be 2-3 months after the beginning of the program when the VOs finally get to process the applications.

So, I think that people who still haven't gotten PER might need to worry, but those waiting for PPR currently are safe.

Can someone please tell me how to enter my application status so it would show under my profile. I can't seem to find where to fill out the information.

Thanks!

You have to click on "profile" tab on the top right and then click the "forum profile information" on the left. You might need to wait until you have 20 posts though.

I think any application received at CIC before January 1st 2014 will be in good shape. We are at VO stage and not at CIC stage so I do not think we should think we should worry about returning current applications. If Canada government had any intention of returning applications that are currently at VO stage, they should have mentioned it in their Canada Gazette

This info from CIC website and also published in Canada Gazette.
"All eligible applications received before January 1st will be considered for processing based on current guidelines. Fees will be charged for each one"

And Also one of FAQ:
7. What will happen to permanent residence applications you receive before the launch of Express Entry?

Applications received by CIC before the launch of Express Entry will be processed according to the rules in place at that time.

Hope the best for everyone. :)

did anyone submit settlement of funds?

to my understanding from the CIC website you dont need to if :
you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada AND
you are currently working or authorized to work in Canada.

Thanks for your feedback

You are not required to provide a proof of fund if you have a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada.
