MR received ;D ;D ;D

NOC: 2174
Office: CPC-O
App Date: June 5, 2014
PER Date: Oct 1, 2014
MR Date: Nov 21, 2014

CIC also requested FBI PCC and RPRF - CIC has given 60 days to submit docs.
I had sent both(INDIA and US PCC) along with the application. Both expired in August. They did not request Indian PCC. Might be because i never went to india after i got my Indian PCC. But i was still in the US early this year.
I have already applied for FBI PCC a month back - and waiting

Thanks to all forum members and good luck to people in the queue :D

ss updated

Congrats for MR :D

Thanks and hope they ask for passport before Christmas.
If you haven't been to India after getting your PCC, you dont need to submit another PCC. guess only.

are all the files received in CIO-Sydney first and then transfer to different visa office?
I am applying from within Canada. On my application, it was asked to skip the question for visa office. wondering if my file will be reviewed in CPC-Ottawa ?

Who told you to skip the question? You should have mentioned Ottawa as your visa office. CIC will most likely add that information to your application and transfer it to Ottawa.

Dear Friends,

I paid Right of permanent resident fee by credit card and I sent the receipt by mail and email.

How can i know if the receipt is linked to my application?

Thanks,

Hi guys,

First, I would like to thank you all for participating :).

My application was received on May 8 and PER was August 14th. Now, there is no medical nor there is any change to my online status. I am NOC 2132, a friend of mine with application received at May 14, NOC 2173 also in the same position. We are both Cairo Visa office applicants and all applications to Cairo visa office were transferred to CPC-Ottawa.

Now, I have noticed that CPC-Ottawa some how is working by NOCs. But I couldn't figure out how. For an example, for NOC 2173, MR was received until the first week of June, however for my friend and others were not. As for NOC 2132, the situation is even more interesting, as No MRs were received for a while now!

Patience is a virtue, they say, but it is also driving me crazy :), Should I email, CPC-Ottawa to check if they have received my application? Is there anything else I can do?

I am afraid, that my application might end up be left to last (like when all other applications are processed). Does, anyone actually know how does CPC-Ottawa queue their files (or is it a stack, not a queue :) )

Thanks, guys! I was about to go crazy, and wanted to speak my heart out...
